You don’t have to be a hockey fan to be moved by the 1980 U.S. Men’s Olympic team. In the Netflix documentary Miracle: The Boys of ’80, the “Miracle on Ice” is brought to life through unearthed 16mm footage and firsthand accounts from the players themselves. It’s a gripping look at how a group of amateur underdogs defied Cold War tensions to stun the Soviet powerhouse and capture the heart of a nation.
