Singing soldiers: Fort Bragg soldiers belt a capella version of ‘My Girl’

As anyone who has been a member of the military or lived with someone who was, there’s a lot of hurry up and wait involved.

Thankfully, a moment of waiting was captured on video and has now gone viral on TikTok.

Members of the 82nd Airborne were in their gear ready to conduct their assignment, a helicopter jump. With bags strapped on waiting for their orders, the soldiers were sprawled on the ground and passed the time singing an a capella version of the doo-wop classic “My Girl,” WTVD reported.

The video was recorded by Sgt. Kara Hall back in April but was just recently posted, The News & Observer reported.

While the performance wasn’t planned, the soldiers are pros at singing. They’re also members of the division’s All American Chorus, the newspaper reported.
