At the 2026 Golden Globes, Macaulay Culkin emerged from his annual 11-month slumber to make his first appearance at the ceremony in 35 years. Taking the stage to present Best Screenplay, the Home Alone icon leaned into the bit, joking that he usually isn’t allowed out in public once the Christmas trees come down. It was a rare, non-December sighting that gave the star-studded crowd a nostalgic jolt and proved that Culkin is still the reigning king of the “Wait, is that him?” double-take.
