Netflix is reportedly considering adding live streaming channels to its platform as it looks for new ways to keep subscribers engaged.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the move comes as the company faces declines in viewership.

The report follows Netflix’s recent additions of live WWE events and NFL games, along with the launch of an ad-supported subscription tier.

Netflix says it has more than 325 million paid memberships worldwide, serving an audience of nearly 1 billion people.
