ATLANTA — Atlanta’s new National Women’s Soccer League team has unveiled its name, colors and crest ahead of its 2028 debut.
The team will be called Atlanta City FC, with red and Georgia peach as its colors.
The club’s crest features a red phoenix surrounded by a dogwood blossom, with an “A” formed in the middle of the phoenix.

“Atlanta City FC reflects the energy, diversity and ambition that define this community,” the team said in a statement.
Earlier this year, the league’s Atlanta club purchased 33 acres of land along Franklin Gateway in Marietta for a new training facility.
Plans include a 38,000-square-foot facility, four soccer fields and two half-pitches near Atlanta United’s Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground.
“We are proud to build a club that belongs to Atlanta and represents its future on the national stage,” the team said.
Atlanta City FC will officially launch in 2028.
