ATLANTA — If you get your health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, you could pay more for coverage next year.
Georgians for a Healthy Future Policy Director Whitney Griggs says proposed premium increases average about 21%.
Earlier premium increases forced some people to drop their coverage.
“We’ve seen a drop of over half a million Georgians in Georgia access between the spring of 2025 and the spring of 2026,” Griggs said.
The final premium increase rates will be released ahead of open enrollment in November.
