1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in her lifetime. That’s one person every 2 minutes in the U.S.

Money raised by participants and donated by sponsors advances research to find new discoveries and more effective treatments; allows Komen to provide evidence-based breast health education; and directs, vital patient services and support.

Anyone impacted by breast cancer can receive free mental health support and recommendations for local resources from Komen’s Breast Care Helpline, which is the nation’s only support line dedicated to breast cancer. Additionally, Komen offers financial assistance through its Patient Assistance Program, patient navigation, and breast cancer screenings and diagnostics. Funds from the Race for the Cure and MORE THAN PINK Walk Series are critical to ensuring these services can continue.
