Watch as over 100,000 teddy bears get tossed on the ice

Watch as fans cover the ice with over 100k teddy bears Teddy Bear Toss night at the Portland Winter Hawks vs. Seattle Thunderbirds game at Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Ore. Fans bring Teddy Bears which they throw onto the ice upon the Hawks scoring their first goal. The Hawks' first goal came with less than two minutes to go in the game, which was not enough to take the win. The Thunderbirds beat the Winter Hawks 3-1. Over 7000 fans tossed 22,392 new Teddy Bears and other stuffed animals which are later distributed to local charities and hospitals to be given out during the Holidays.
