Making Herstory! After becoming the first woman to play Division 1baseball Olivia Pichardo continues to rewrite the record books. On a historic afternoon in Providence, RI, the Brown University pitcher became the first woman to take the mound in an NCAA Division I game. Entering in the ninth against Cornell, Pichardo needed only two pitches to record an out and secure the win. It was a small moment on the scoreboard, but a massive milestone for athletes everywhere.
