The Saturday Night Live writers’ room was taken over by Cookie Monster, Elmo and the gang, and things got weird in the best way.

Cookie Monster took on Chris Farley’s famous Matt Foley character, and Elmo gave us a solid impression of SNL boss Lorne Michaels. They even gave the viral “Domingo” sketches the Sesame Street treatment. Because apparently, we needed Cookie Monster involved in this, too.

Honestly, Elmo might have a future running SNL. And Cookie Monster probably shouldn’t be allowed near the craft services table.
