A soccer match between Minnesota United FC and the San Jose Earthquakes was briefly delayed after a toddler wandered onto the pitch. Fortunately, the child was unharmed and was safely escorted off the field back into the arms of their concerned parents. Surprisingly, this marks the third time since 2021 that a young child has managed to make it onto an MLS playing surface.
