On March 26 a devastating tornado tore through Newnan and severely damaged the Phillips’ family home, making it unlivable for the family of four including children ages 13 and 16. Lee, a senior software engineer and Sheri, an elementary school teacher celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary while living at her parent’s home. Shortly thereafter, while working on repairing their home with Sheri and the kids, Lee went into sudden cardiac arrest. He spent 5 days on life support in ICU before passing away at only 46 years old. He never regained consciousness and the family never got to say goodbye. The family has remained strong through all of this, and would love to have a happy moment at the end of this difficult year.
