In early October, A frontline COVID-19 warrior, hard working, single mother of a wonderful family, Shivonne, was placed on bed rest after learning that her high risk pregnancy was advancing faster then expected. This meant a significant impact to her family’s income just before the holidays. She went into pre-term labor suddenly delivering her baby girl Shayla two months early. With two other children, David (14yo) and Dredyn (7yo) at home, medical bills and day-to-day expenses have added up. The newest addition to the family is still in the NICU recieving special care. Shivonne’s disability claim was denied of recieving financial assistance. Unable to return to work, Shivonne is fighting to give her children a Christmas to remember.

She was nominated by a coworker who said “She is a selfless mama and would give anything and everything for her cubs.”
