Wilde, 36, who directed “Booksmart,” and Sudeikis, 45, who starred in “Ted Lasso,” split at the beginning of the year, the magazine reported.

“It’s been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine," People quoted an unnamed source “close to the family.” "The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship.”

The couple have a 6-year-old son, Otis Alexander, and a 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Josephine, the magazine reported.

Wilde and Sudeikis have enjoyed success over the past year, with Wilde filming “Don’t Worry Darling,” starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh, E! Online reported. Sudeikis, meanwhile, has begun work on season two of the Apple+ series, “Ted Lasso,” the website reported.

Both of their projects were shelved because of the coronavirus.

The pair first started dating in November 2011 and Sudeikis proposed after the holidays in 2012, People reported.

Throughout their relationship, the couple defended their long engagement and said they were in no hurry to get married, US magazine reported.

“We are seriously connected,” Wilde told Porter Edit in February 2016. “Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it’s like, ‘Oh, we’re committed and promised already.’”

“We won’t get married until weed is legal in every state,” Sudeikis joked in April 2016, while appearing on “Watch What Happens Live,” US reported.
