According to WKRC-TV, U.S. Marshals in Kentucky arrested Kevin Nowlin on Sunday, weeks after a grand jury indicted him on a charge of third-degree endangering children in September.

The charge stems from the April 30 drug overdose of a toddler, Mt. Orab police wrote in a Facebook post Monday. The girl’s father said he picked up the girl from her mother’s house, where Nowlin had been watching the child, WXIX-TV reported. He quickly noticed that the child was behaving strangely and putting her head back, so he took her to a nearby hospital, according to the news outlet.

“The 15-month-old child was found to have methamphetamine and THC in their system,” police wrote in the Facebook post. “During the investigation, it was found that the child had been in the care of Kevin Nowlin when the alleged incident took place.”
