‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ mansion turns into Airbnb

Now this is a story all about how your life can get flipped - turned upside down.

Will Smith has partnered with Airbnb to offer the home that was featured as the exterior of the “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” mansion as a limited Airbnb experience.

There are five stays available — Oct. 2, 5, 8, 11 and 14 — for the cost of $30 a night to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the show.

There are rules.

Applications will open on Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. PDT and only for Los Angeles County residents.

The lucky applicants will spend a single night in the wing of the mansion claimed by Smith and will have access to the bedroom, bathroom, poolside lounge and dining room.

They will be able to get a pair of Air Jordans for a game of basketball in the bedroom, throwback music on DJ turntables, wearing some classic Fresh Prince outfits and being virtually welcomed to the home by DJ Jazzy Jeff.

There will also be an online experience with DJ Jazzy Jeff for those who can’t win the Airbnb nights. For more information on that event, click here.

Smith teamed up with the owners of the Brentwood, California, home for the promotion, CNN reported.

Recently, Smith announced that “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” will be retold as a drama on NBC’s Peacock streaming platform, USA Today reported. It is expected to run for two seasons.

There is also a reunion special that will be streamed on HBO Max this Thanksgiving, CNN reported.
