In celebration of World Cocktail Day, May 13, Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia will host a happy hour at the hotel’s signature outdoor dining space – Backyard at Parkwoods. The happy hour will be free and open to the public from 5-6 p.m. Guest can reserve their spot today via OpenTable and are invited to stay for dinner following the happy hour, where they will also receive a complimentary appetizer with meal purchase and validated parking.

Golf fans are in for an “un-fore-gettable” time when Georgia’s only PGA TOUR Champions returns to Duluth this May. The tournament, which features 81 PGA TOUR Champions professionals vying for a $1.8 million purse, includes a number of family-friendly events throughout the week, including a kids scavenger hunt.

The Wing & Rock Festival is an annual two day family friendly, food and music event that has something for everyone. This event is the 3rd largest chicken wing festival in the country featuring some of the region’s best tasting wings and was picked as a Top 10 festival in the country by Parade magazine. The amphitheater stage will feature live rock tribute acts, DJ Suspense & School of Rock East Cobb House Band performances. Also be sure to check out the Arts & Crafts market and the wing eating competition.
Celebrating its 12th year, the award-winning event will feature 175 artists and artisans painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft artisans, glass blowers, jewelers, and more. Festival-goers are also invited to enjoy live acoustic music, an array of bites and beverages including fare from local food trucks, and take advantage of a fun-filled children’s area. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.

On the Third Thursday of April, May and June join the property for an outdoor market and brewery. On the northside of the property, there will be a market featuring various artists, vendors, and creatives. On the south side of the property, tables will be set up socially distanced for guests to grab a draft beer, a bratwurst and enjoy live music and outdoor games.
Created for artists by artists, the festival will feature more than 85 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers, and more. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations and enjoy gourmet food trucks, live acoustic music, dance performances, and much more. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.
Back by popular demand are beer sampling from some of Atlanta’s favorite breweries; live music; free carousel and train rides; and evening animal viewing for guests ages 21 and up. All four 2021 events will take place exclusively on the Zoo’s outdoor pathways. Brew at the Zoo will happen Friday, June 25; Friday, July 23; and Friday, August 27 as well.
As the live music experience is slowly able to come back to life, Wildwood Revival is launching its first socially-distanced Summer Concert Series, Into the Wildwood, comprising multiple concerts located at Cloverleaf Farm just outside of Athens, Georgia. Old Crow Medicine Show with special guest Caleb Caudle plays on May 28.

With tables spanning Avalon Boulevard, the open-air dinner party invites guests to indulge in an exceptional street-level dining experience, with prix fixe four-course meals and beverage pairings from Biltong Bar, Branch & Barrel, Colletta, Cru Wine Bar, Oak Steakhouse, Rumi’s Kitchen and South City Kitchen.

Enjoy the outdoors, walk some trails, and visit with animals at the Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary! The sanctuary is home to rabbits, monkeys, cows, alpacas- and many more! Hours of operations are Thursday through Sunday, and reservations must be made ahead of time online.
