Community steps up to help father of special needs kids buy a van

By purchasing chicken wings at Wings and Things in Newnan you’ll be helping the Tuttle family.

Jason Tuttle is the father of Sam, who turns 12 this November, and Zachary, 13.

“They are both severely neurologically delayed, they are both epileptic, they both deal with seizures, they’re both nonverbal, they’re both in wheelchairs,” Tuttle told 11 Alive.

The Tuttle family has been raising money for three years for a van that can fit their wheelchairs.

“They lift the kids out of their chairs into the middle row of the van to ride, a task that’s getting harder as they grow and age,” 11 Alive reports.
