By Vikki Locke

Baldwin Explodes: Alec Baldwin allegedly attacked a NY Post writer and photographer on Sunday. He grabbed Tara Palmeri by the arm after she asked about the Yoga lawsuit against his wife. Alec said, "I want you to choke to death." Then, he referred to Tara as a "crackhead" and a "drug dealer". G.N. Miller, a retired NYPD detective and staff photographer for The Post, then intervened. He says, “He was saying some serious racist stuff. He said some choice words about my mother, and he was telling people in the street that I’m a drug dealer. He could have said a lot of other stuff. But he used all of the stereotypes associated with black people.” All parties filed complaints.

Flyin' The Unfriendly Skies: Joe Hundley was recently arrested for slapping a baby on a Delta flight to Atlanta. The 19 month-old was crying when he allegedly told his mother, “Shut that (N-word) baby up.” Joe later denied being racist or hitting the child. Several passengers witnessed the slap. Joe is facing a year in jail if found guilty of assault.

** UPDATE **

Joe has been fired from his job. AGC Aerospace & Defense says, "Reports of the recent behavior of one of our business unit executives while on personal travel are offensive and disturbing. We have taken this matter very seriously and worked diligently to examine it since learning of the matter on Friday afternoon. As of Sunday, the executive is no longer employed with the company."

Pistorius Murder Case Update: The NY Daily News claims Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp were sleeping together before she was shot dead. A source says, “The suspicion is that the first shot, in the bedroom, hit her in the hip. She then ran and locked herself in the toilet. She was doubled over because of the pain. He fired three more shots. She probably covered her head, which is why the bullet also went through her hand.''

A source tells the Sun, “Steroid drugs were found at Pistorius’ home together with evidence of heavy drinking. Police have specifically ordered that he be tested for steroids,”

Oakley and Nike are no longer using Oscar in ad campaigns.

Hollywood reporter Janet Charlton claims Reeva received a late night text from rugby star Francois Hougaard before she was killed.

Action Jackson: Entertainment Tonight has hired Prince Michael Jackson as a correspondent. His interview with James Franco, Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi airs tonight. He asked Franco how to succeed in Hollywood. Franco replied, "I always tell people, just go out and try, and stop waiting around or dreaming it’s going to happen. Just go and start doing things on your own.”

Dis-LIKE: Facebook's new Graph search acts like a dating site. Branding consultant Nick Gilham says, “You can now find friends that like the same band as you do, or search for someone to share your life with the same interests. And if you’re already married? “You can even play matchmaker.”

** UPDATE **

Mark Keenan, of Divorce-Online, is concerned that Facebook's new Graph Search engine could lead to the social networking site becoming a factor in more relationship breakdowns. He says, “We have continued to monitor the divorce petitions we produce and the prevalence of the word Facebook in them has if anything slightly increased. Facebook has become the all pervasive tool for communicating in affairs, replacing e-mail, texting and phoning."

10 Germiest Places In Your Home from goodhousekeeping.com

1. Underside of Rugs
To remove dust and dirt that's gone deep down into the rug, simply flip it over and vacuum the underside.

2. Blinds
The material they're made of - metal, wood, or fabric - determines how you dust them. For metal blinds, wipe with a sock lightly dampened with water or multi-purpose cleaner. For wood blinds follow the same procedure using only a little tap water. Do not overwet the wood and be sure to buff dry right away. For fabric blinds, go over the blinds with a dry microfiber cloth.

3. Credit Cards
These everyday essentials get handled by lots of people, and germs can lurk in the crevices around the numbers. Give debit and credit cards a quick cleaning with an alcohol wipe and let them air dry before placing them back in your wallet.

4. Kitchen Trash Can
Clean your can or the plastic liner in your utility room sink, the shower, or outside. (Be sure to disinfect the sink and shower afterwards). Thoroughly spray the trash can with a cleaner that contains bleach and let it stand for 10 minutes. Rinse and wipe clean. Before adding a new garbage bag, be sure the can is completely dry.

5. Plants
Outdoor plants are cleaned off by the rain, but houseplants become caked with dust. Spiff them up with water and a soft cloth, like an old t-shirt. Don't forget to inspect the dirt for mold. Overwatering plants can cause mold to develop on top of the soil. If you notice any, replace the soil.

6. Purse
Spot clean fabric bags with a gentle detergent solution like Woolite and flip the purse inside out to wipe down the inner lining. On finished leather purses, use a leather conditioning cleaner - I love Guardsman Leather Wipes. And, if you place your purse on the floor in a restaurant or even worse, in the ladies' room, never put it on your kitchen table or countertop.

7. Top of the Refrigerator
I guess it's true what they say: "out of sight, out of mind". This definitely applies to the top of the refrigerator. Don't forget to wipe it down when you do the sides and handles.

8. Toothbrush Holder
Soak the holder in a solution of 1 part bleach to 3 parts water and rinse. Then air dry upside down. Or simply wash on the top rack of your dishwasher.

9. Vacuum Cleaner Brushes & Attachments
You clean out the dust container or replace the bag routinely but when was the last time you cleaned the vacuum upholstery tool or brush roll? Check your manual for the how-to. Using scissors, cut off any carpet fibers or hair entangled around the brush.

10. Yoga Mat
After a few sessions, you probably notice that your sweaty hands and feet are leaving dirty marks on your mat, which can lead to yucky bacteria growth. Most mat manufacturers recommend occasionally hand cleaning their products with water and mild soap. All-purpose cleaners can eat away at the material.

Why Can't We Be Friends

- the percentage of mothers who use Facebook has jumped from 50% in 2010 to 72% in 2012

- 43% of parents, who have Facebook accounts, check their children's profiles every day, while 31% check four to five times every week

- the top three areas of interest to nosy parents, in descending order, is their children's status updates, posts made by their children's friends on their wall, and photos that they are tagged in

- 30% of children are embarrassed by their parent's Facebook activity and would un-friend them if they could

 Can You Hear Me Now

A new survey by Halifax Insurance reveals that 50% of people use phones and computers to communicate with people in the same house. Other findings:

- 75% of people would struggle without phones, laptops and mp3 players

- 45% of people have used phone calls, text messages, tweets and emails rather than bothering to go into the next room to talk to other members of the household

- 10% of people check their emails in the bathroom

Sweet

A new study by Wolverhampton University reveals that pouring sugar on wounds can heal them faster than antibiotics. Researcher Moses Murandu says, ''Sugar draws water from the wound into a dressing accelerating the healing process. When I was a child my father used to treat my cuts with sugar, so I was to surprised to find that didn't exist here in the UK. In Africa we would get the sugar from the supermarket, here it has to go through our aseptic services department. I believe in the sugar and the nurses and doctors who see the effects are beginning to believe in it too. I’d like to thank the University and the School of Health and Wellbeing for their support and also the patients for taking part.''

I’m never in the same place for more than two months. How am I ever going to have a family like that? You have to make compromises. Adele is allegedly in therapy for her stage fright. A source tells Showbiz Spy, “Adele has suffered with terrible stage fright since she was 16, but now it’s worse than ever. She knows all eyes are on her after almost a year out of the spotlight, so she needed something to help her with it. Ayda was the first person to tell Adele about Belly Breathing, and how it had helped Robbie overcome his performing anxiety in recent years. It’s done wonders for Adele since she started getting daily sessions from a leading Indian practitioner. She’s being taught to breathe with her diaphragm instead of her chest, which is making an enormous difference. Adele has said it feels like she’s in a whole new phase of her life where performing’s concerned, and is confident she can beat her stage fright once and for all.”
