Free Divorce: Detroit lawyer Walter Bentley III is giving away a free divorce for Valentine’s Day. He says, “The idea came about when people come into my office on a regular basis who want to get a divorce and they’re struggling right now financially and they just don’t have the funds or means to do that. And so that’s why I decided to do it. What makes Valentine’s Day even hard for some people that are in that situation that are in a bad marriage and you’re living with the person, and it makes Valentine’s Day a very, very tough day for people — when you’re living with someone you no longer want to be married to. The free divorce is limited to an uncontested divorce with no or minimal child custody issues. One winner will be announced on Valentine’s Day.''

Must Reed: New York Observer film critic Rex Reed called Melissa McCarthy a 'hippo' in his review of Identity Thief. He wrote: ''The snafus in the worst road movie since The Guilt Trip plunge Mr. Bateman and his female hippo into a motel with only a double bed, a grotesque sex scene with a pickled reprobate she picks up in a bar who demands a threesome, a violent bar fight that bloodies his nose, a kidnapping, a multi-car collision going the wrong way on the freeway … but why go on? They seem to be making it up as they go along, in a movie that threatens never to end.''

** UPDATE **

Various Reactions From the Net:

Reed is old, disgruntled, and out of touch. The Observer is a rag that keeps him in free movie tickets. He once was a serious reviewer with credibility, but that disappeared years ago. McCarthy is funny; she's a pro, and her timing is excellent. But, she is obese, and it's a shame that she and her Mike/Molly costar don't do something about it. The show puts them in this tiny little bed that must be steel-reinforced... All that said, my wife is forcing me to the movie tonight...

Has Rex Reed checked out any mirrors lately? He's no Calvin Klein model himself. What a mean-spirited thing to say about someone. He should have been taught that is you have nothing good to say about someone...keep your trap shut!

She has continued to get bigger and bigger as she makes more money. I can't watch her MIKE & MOLLY TV show. The 2 actors are funny but so unhealthy looking.

So the liberal news media has a problem with Reed's review but no problem at all with constantly attacking the Gov. of NJ, Chris Christie? You can't have it both ways guys. The news media are the biggest hypocrites out there right now.

Frankly, I wish everybody (including the posters on this thread) would stop worrying about what other people look like and how they live their lives. Unless you're planning to marry her, it's not of your business.

Bridesmaid director Paul Feig Tweeted: For his catty and school bully name-calling of the supremely talented Melissa McCarthy, I cordially invite Mr. Rex Reed to go **** himself.

All Joking Aside: The Lakewood-Busti, New York police recently arrested Aaron Chase for dressing like The Joker and drunkenly harassing Applebee's customers. The 24-year-old was taken to WCA Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. Chase was booted from a bar before his Applebees arrest. Authorities charged him with trespassing.

Mark Wahlberg has banned his kids from seeing Ted. He says, "They're thinking, 'Daddy, finally there is a movie with you and a teddy bear and you're laughing and having fun.' Clearly Ted is really inappropriate and my wife is very conservative. I'm thinking, '(When) the boys are eight and nine, we'll show them' and she's like, '(Not until they're) 24, 25 and we're never showing our daughters,' which I completely agree with."

... In Bed ... : The world’s largest fortune cookie maker, Wonton Food, is removing romantic messages from their fortunes. VP Derrick Wong says, “Some parents sent us e-mails. They said they didn’t want their kids reading them. Different people have a different perspective. Messages have to be rated G. They can’t be offensive. Gone are suggestive fortunes such as, “One who admires you greatly is hidden before your eyes,” “Romance and travel go together,” “The evening promises romantic interest,” and “A romantic mystery will soon add interest to your life.”''

Stars Share Their Worst Valentine's Days Ever From The NY Post

Kathy Griffin: “I was stood up one time. It was supposed to be a fix-up. I had this girlfriend saying ‘Oh, this guy is so great and so sweet . . .’ And then he absolutely stood me up. I was sitting in my studio apartment on Centinela Avenue in Santa Monica where I lived for eight years. One room for eight years. Sitting there in the dress, and the call never came. Just sad — where you take the dress off and put the PJs on and order a pizza and turn on ‘Oprah.’ I was probably like 25. I finally recovered. Lots of therapy.”

Emily Maynard (“The Bachelor”): “One year I went out with this guy for the first time, and he was so rude to the waitress I was mortified. I was like ‘I live down the street from here!’ He didn’t leave her a tip. I went back the next day, and I apologized and I never talked to that guy again.”

Ali Sweeney (“The Biggest Loser”): “My husband will kill me . . . One time my husband had been working so late, and he ended up falling asleep right before we were supposed to go to dinner. And we ended up having to go to a late-night dinner at like 11 at night.”

Kim Kardashian is launching a baby clothing line. A source tells RADAR Online, “Kris and Kim can’t believe they’ve never thought of this before, but they would love to produce baby clothes. It clicked for Kim when she started looking at designer pieces for her own baby and saw nothing that really grabbed her and was cost effective.”

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were recently spotted being super affectionate at an L.A. art gallery. A source tells Perez Hilton, "JT and Jess were super lovey dovey. I watched her when she got there, looking for him and went up to him and pinched his butt. It was sickening it was so cute… They seemed really sweet and i saw them awwing over a bunch of little babies that were there! They were laughing a lot also."

JLo allegedly purchased a $25,000 CACI Ultimate facial machine. A source tells Showbiz Spy, “She loved it so much she wanted a machine at home. Jennifer is very dedicated to fitting in her workouts. She will make sure to have her workout clothes with her at all times. She’ll go in full makeup straight from a set to work out.”

Casper Smart allegedly wants him and JLo to get matching tattoos. A source tells the Star, ''When he presented her with that idea Jennifer could barely control her laughter. The poor guy knows he's up against four previous engagements and three marriages so it's impossible for him to do something special that he can afford.''

Richard Marx slammed Chris Brown and the Grammys on Friday when he Tweeted: 'Risque’ clothing banned at Grammys but guys who beat up women? Come ooonnn downnnnn…..#goodcallgrammys.' Technically that tweet was about ANY d**kbag who hits women.”

Kelly Clarkson doesn't like awards shows. She says, "No one talks to each other. Everyone shuts their doors. Everyone's too cool for school. Not everyone but for the most part. And you have to sometimes drag me to those events, just 'cause...it's so painful. It's just not fun. Country award shows are so much fun. Everyone talks. Everyone hangs out. It's just a nice environment. It's welcoming."
