Most Employers Need Less Than 10 Minutes to Make Up Their Mind in a Job Interview

 According to a survey of human resource managers by Accountemps, 60% of them make up their mind on a candidate within the first 10 minutes of a job interview.  And nearly one in five . . . 18% . . . take FIVE minutes or less to draw conclusions about a candidate.

  --The average amount of time it took to form a positive or negative opinion was 10 minutes . . . here's how long managers said they took to make up their minds:

  --Five minutes or less:  18%

  -Six to 10 minutes:  42%

  --16 to 30 minutes:  26%

 --More than 30 minutes:  1%

Billboard's 21 Hottest Music Stars Under the Age of 21

 Billboard.com has put out their annual list of "The 21 Hottest Music Stars Under the Age of 21".  They didn't really reveal the criteria they used to rank these kids . . . but they did do write-ups on "what makes them hot."

 --For the second straight year, JUSTIN BIEBER topped the list . . . and this year, he's followed by ONE DIRECTION and DEMI LOVATO, who's now on "X Factor".

Some New Yorkers are already camping out so they can be the first to purchase the iPhone 5 on Friday. Many plan to auction their phone to the highest bidder. Analysts predict Apple will sell 10 million iPhone5s within weeks.

 Collateral Damage

A new study by gadget insurer Square Trade reveals that 30% of people will damage their new iPhone within 12 months. Other findings:

- accidental damage is 10 times more likely than loss or theft

- 11% of iPhone owners are currently walking around with a device that is cracked

- 6% of iPhones have tape on them

The top five ways phones are damaged or destroyed:

1.Phone dropped from hand.
2.Phone fell into a toilet, swimming pool or lake.
3.Phone dropped from lap.
4.Phone knocked off a table.
5.Phone drenched by "some liquid."

Sharon Osbourne ripped Dina Lohan yesterday when she said, “Kids don’t need friends as a mother. They need a mother to guide them. The way she conducts herself — she acts like a teenager. She’s a mother past her sell by date! I don’t think Dina has a criminal record, but she’s criminal to herself and her children because of the way she behaves.”

Mel Gibson is upset about losing half his fortune to his wife. A source tells the National Enquirer, “You’d think that someone as wealthy as Mel wouldn’t bat an eye at having to hand over half of everything he owns to Robyn, especially after the years of hell he put her through with his skirt chasing, drink­ing and nasty temper tantrums. But he’s furious about it. Mel should count his lucky stars, though, be­cause Robyn could have been spiteful and pushed for even more than she was awarded.”

Katy Perry has given John Mayer keys to her home. A source tells the Sun, “John thinks it is easier to stay in hotels rather than his own L.A. pad when he visits from New York. But Katy insists he should stay with her. She thinks it makes sense.”

Nicki Minaj says American Idol inspires her. ''I remember watching 'American Idol' in the first season and feeling inspired.
