ACTRESS SUFFERED BREAKDOWN AFTER BEING DUMPED BY CRUISE!

Nazanin Boniadi, the Iranian-born actress who was picked by the Church of Scientology to be Tom Cruise’s next wife after his marriage to Nicole Kidman failed, reportedly suffered a breakdown after she was dumped by the actor. According to Radaronline, Nazanin “fell very hard and very fast for Tom, but he grew bored with her and moved on.” After being dumped by Tom, Naz was punished by the church. “She was forced to clean toilets with a toothbrush at the Church of Scientology headquarters in Florida,” said a source. “Naz worked 10-15 hours a day and was told she was being punished for talking about her relationship with Cruise.” When she was finally released, the insider says Naz “didn’t know what to do and she was absolutely lost. BYNES TO BE CHARGED FOR TWO HIT-AND-RUNS!

Amanda Bynes is finally going to face the consequences of her bad driving. Last month, prosecutors in LA  reopened a hit-and-run case from back in April after Bynes was accused of causing another accident and then fleeing in August. Now the LA City Attorney is charging the actress with two counts of misdemeanor hit and run. She’s due in court September 27^th.  She faces up to a year in jail if convicted.

GIBSON’S EX GOT HALF!

Mel Gibson’s bank account took quite a hit when he divorced wife of 31 years Robyn. TMZ got a hold of the couple’s divorce documents and basically Robyn got half of everything, including   half of his Screen Actors Guild pension benefits for the time they were married; half of his 401K benefits accumulated through his production company and a big portion of his Directors Guild of America pension benefits. In addition,  the pair split all their earnings and property, which came to about $800 mil.

MATRIX DIRECTOR OPENS UP ABOUT SEX CHANGE

Lana Wachowski, the Matrix director formerly known as Larry Wachowski, is opening up for the first time about her gender identity issues, which she says began as early as the third grade.  Lana tells New Yorker magazine that when she transferred to Catholic School, she didn’t know where to line up when they split the class up by sex.  "I just stopped in between [the two lines]. I stood for a long moment with everyone staring at me, including the nun,” she said. “She told me to get in line. I was stuck -- I couldn't move. I think some unconscious part of me figured I was exactly where I belonged: betwixt.”  Lana finally decided to do something about her identity in 2002, during the filming of the second and third installments of The Matrix. "For years, I couldn't even say the words 'transgendered' or 'transsexual,'" she said. "When I began to admit it to myself, I knew I would eventually have to tell my parents and my brother and my sisters. This fact would inject such terror into me that I would not sleep for days." Luckily, when Lana admitted the truth, everyone in the family accepted her unconditionally.  "I chose to change my exteriority to bring it closer into alignment with my interiority,” she said. “My biggest fears were all about losing my family. SHATNER SUED BY FORMER EMPLOYEES!

Star Trek’sWilliam Shatner is being sued by two former employees who claim the actor “harassed and berated” them into quitting. Handyman Oscar Alfaro and his wife Delmy, a housekeeper, say they worked at Shatner’s Studio City home for 20 years before Oscar was injured on the job. Shatner then asked Oscar to sign a waiver releasing Shatner from any financial responsibility for the injury, and when he didn’t, the actor bullied both him and his wife into quitting.   The couple is seeking unspecified damages, claiming they suffered “humiliation, embarrassment and mental anguish,” as a result of Shatner’s actions.

JUDY BLUME REVEALS BREAST CANCER BATTLE

Well known young adult author Judy Blume revealed on her blog yesterday that has battled breast cancer. In post titled "!@#$% Happens," Blume, 74, says she was diagnosed in June during a routine ultrasound and had surgery last month.  The cancer was discovered “very early” and she subsequently had a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.

● Michael Fassbender will star in the rock and roll comedy Frank,  about an up-and-coming musician (played by Domhnall Gleeson) who joins a band headed by an outlandish frontman (Fassbender).

● Deadline.com reports that Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, along with director Richard Linklater, have just finished filming Before Midnight, the third film in the series that includes 1995’s Before Sunrise and 2004’s Before Sunset. Hawke and Delpy once again play star-crossed lovers Celine and Jesse, who met while traveling through Europe on a train, and then reconnected nine years later in Paris.

● The gals of The Talk will look a little different during the show’s season premiere, Monday, September 10^th. ●  Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is on board to host a new reality series for TNT. Tentatively titled The Hero, the competition series will set out to find the next great hero by putting 10 ordinary people together in a house, and then giving them various missions. It is expected to premiere in January.

● NBC has decided to put The Voice in direct competition with The X Factor. The network has announced that they’ve extended The Voice’s premiere week to three nights of blind auditions, adding Wednesday, September 12^th at 8 pm. The Wednesday edition will air opposite the season premiere of The X Factor, featuring new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.  The season premiere of The Voice airs Monday, September 10^th.
