Slim Claus: European mall Santas are once again being asked to slim down in order to set good examples for children. Many ‘Santa Boot Camps', which train men on how to play St. Nick, are including daily workout regimes as part of their training sessions. Advocates believe slimmer Santas will help children understand the importance of exercise. The Daily Mail reports that if Santa ate every food dish that was left out for him on Christmas Eve he would gain 721,000 pounds.
Grey Area: Fifty Shades of Grey is causing a London couple to divorce. The wife's lawyer, Amanda McAlister, says, ''She thought their sex life had hit a rut – he never remembered Valentine’s Day and he never complimented her on her appearance. So she bought sexy underwear in an attempt to get her husband more involved. She said, “Let’s make things more interesting”. But when he still didn’t take any notice she told him he had a boring attitude to sex and she was fed up. He went ballistic when he found out the name of the book she was reading and told her, “It’s all because you have been reading that bloody book”. It used to be the men who complained they weren’t getting enough nookie in the bedroom. But now it’s the women who are calling their husbands boring after reading books like Fifty Shades.''
Not Funny: A University of Colorado student was arrested on Sunday for wearing a Joker mask into a theatre. Moviegoers fled fearing another Aurora, Colorado massacre. The man was charged with five counts of misdemeanor menacing after some of those in the theater said they feared for their safety. He was trying to prank his friends.
Elmo Allegations: The voice of Tickle Me Elmo, Kevin Clash, has taken a leave of absence from Sesame Street to defend himself against allegations he had sex with a 16-year-old boy. He says, "I had a relationship with the accuser. It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to make it into something it was not." The accuser is being represented by Andreozzi and Associates, a firm that represented one of Jerry Sandusky's rape victims. Sesame Street says, "In June of this year, Sesame Workshop received a communication from a young man who alleged that he had a relationship with Kevin Clash beginning when he was 16-years-old. This was a personal relationship, unrelated to the workplace. We took the allegation very seriously and took immediate action. Elmo is bigger than any one person and will continue to be an integral part of Sesame Street to engage, educate and inspire children around the world.'' Sesame Workshop officials tell TMZ they conducted a thorough investigation and determined the allegation of underage sex was unsubstantiated.

Cathy Ward spent $3,000 and 22 hours getting the faces of Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner tattooed on her back. The 49 year-old Londoner says she lost 70 pounds and 14 dress sizes when she gave up snacking in favor of reading the Twilight book series. She says she plans to spend another $3,000 getting her whole stomach inked with images of werewolves and vampires. "There are still a few bits to do. I am going to get my arms done before my 50th birthday in summer. I love Robert Pattinson. I want to tone up so I can get his character Edward Cullen on my stomach."
10 Foods That Improve Your Hair from foxnews.com
Prunes
Aside from keeping your bowels running like a Porsche 911 Carrera S engine, prunes can also help improve your hair because they are one of very few non-meat sources of iron. Although it’s not exactly clear how iron helps hair, it is well known that individuals who are iron-deficient can experience profound changes to their hair including hair loss, dryness, thinning, stiffness, and discoloration.
Green peas
Although you don’t often see green peas labeled as a superfood, it might be a good time to start regarding them as such. It’s not that they’re teeming with antioxidants or any specific vitamin or mineral. No. On the contrary, green peas are instead very well balanced, offering a vast array of vitamins and minerals in reasonable amounts, including those that are important for healthy hair, like iron, zinc and B vitamins (deficiencies of these elements have been linked to unhealthy hair changes).
Shrimp
We already know that we should limit our red meats, but for men trying to build muscle, finding a protein replacement can be tough. Well, how about shrimp? Not only are these tiny crustaceans delicious served over pasta and red wine, but they’ll also help you keep your hair! Shrimp are an excellent source of vitamin B12, iron and zinc — key vitamins and minerals that you’ll need in your fight against hair loss.
Steel-cut oats
Like prunes, oats are loaded with more than enough fiber to help you maintain a healthy heart and bowels, but beyond fiber, oats are also jam-packed full of other important nutrients, like zinc, iron and omega-6 fatty acids. Also known as polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), omega-6 fatty acids are essential to normal skin, hair growth and development. Omega-6 fatty acids are also essential in the sense that they must be obtained from the diet — so don’t be afraid to throw down a nice big bowl of oatmeal now and again.
Kidney beans
Legumes like kidney beans have long been touted for their healthy-hair-promoting properties. Not only are they a great non-meat source of iron and zinc, but they’re also a great source of protein. Studies have shown that severe protein deficiency can lead to unhealthy hair or hair loss and thinning, more specifically. In fact, changes to hair were even considered as a means of identifying protein malnutrition in hospitalized patients back in the 1970s.
Walnuts
Pound for pound, walnuts are incredibly hair-friendly. Not only do walnuts have more omega-6 fatty acids than any other food, but they’re also full of zinc, iron, B vitamins (B1, B6 and B9), and plenty of protein. Of note, however, walnuts also contain a small trace of selenium, a mineral known to cause hair loss in people who are selenium-deficient or have way too much in their system.
Pumpkin seeds
Like walnuts, pumpkin seeds are loaded with all the nutrients that your hair could ever want, like protein, omega-6 fatty acids, zinc and iron. What’s even more exciting is that pumpkin seeds, like other seeds, can be easily combined with nuts for a delicious trail mix. Just throw together a handful of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, and raisins in a bag, and you have yourself the perfect hair-revitalization snack
Eggs
You’d probably never guess it, but eggs will put some hair on your chest (and they’ll help maintain the hair on your head, too). That’s because eggs contain major hair nutrients in large amounts. This includes protein, vitamin B12, iron, zinc, and even omega-6 fatty acids. Deficiencies in any of these have been linked to unhealthy hair. Eggs are also a rich source of biotin (vitamin B7), which is often prescribed alongside other medications to fight hair loss.
Calf liver
No one ever said eating healthy was easy. Though you might not consider calf liver a necessary component of a well-balanced healthy-hair diet, it’s tough to ignore the fact that each ounce of liver gives you almost three times the daily requirement of vitamin B12, along with a hearty serving of biotin, other B vitamins, iron, zinc, and protein — many nutrients that promote healthy hair. So, next time you’re staring at the meat rack in your local grocery store, just remember that there were reasons your mom made you eat liver and onions besides as punishment.
Sardines
While you might find few things more disgusting than peeling back a tin of sardines only to catch the sight and smell of several small fish all lined in a row, some men actually welcome the taste of this smoky treat. Maybe it’s time you did, too. Not only do sardines come fully loaded with protein, iron, zinc, and an insane amount of vitamin B12, but sardines are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids and the ever-important vitamin D, both of which have been linked to preventing hair loss in chemotherapy patients. When it comes to healthy hair, sardines are a man’s best friend.
McAfee's 12 Scams of Christmas
1) Social media scams: Cybercriminals know social media networks are a good place to catch you off guard because we’re all “friends,” right? Scammers use channels, like Facebook and Twitter, just like email and websites to scam consumers during the holidays. Be careful when clicking or liking posts, while taking advantage of raffle contests, and fan page deals that you get from your “friends” that advertise the hottest Holiday gifts, installing apps to receive discounts, and your friends’ accounts being hacked and sending out fake alerts. Twitter ads and special discounts utilize blind, shortened links, many of which could easily be malicious.
2) Malicious Mobile Apps: As smartphone users we are app crazy, downloading over 25 billion apps for Android devices alone! But as the popularity of applications has grown, so have the chances that you could download a malicious application designed to steal your information or even send out premium-rate text messages without your knowledge.
3) Travel Scams: Before you book your flight or hotel to head home to see your loved ones for the holidays, keep in mind that the scammers are looking to hook you with too-good-to-be-true deals. Phony travel webpages, sometimes using your preferred company, with beautiful pictures and rock-bottom prices are used to get you to hand over your financial details.
4) Holiday Spam/Phishing: Soon many of these spam emails will take on holiday themes. Cheap Rolex watches and pharmaceuticals may be advertised as the “perfect gift” for that special someone.
5) iPhone 5, iPad Mini and other hot holiday gift scams: The kind of excitement and buzz surrounding Apple’s new iPhone 5 or iPad Mini is just what cybercrooks dream of when they plot their scams. They will mention must-have holiday gifts in dangerous links, phony contests (example: “Free iPad”) and phishing emails as a way to grab computer users’ attention to get you to reveal personal information or click on a dangerous link that could download malware onto your machine.
6) Skype Message Scare: People around the world will use Skype to connect with loved ones this holiday season, but they should be aware of a new Skype message scam that attempts to infect their machine, and even hold their files for ransom.
7) Bogus gift cards: Cybercriminals can't help but want to get in on the action by offering bogus gift cards online. Be wary of buying gift cards from third parties; just imagine how embarrassing it would be to find out that the gift card you gave your mother-in-law was fraudulent!
8) Holiday SMiShing: “SMiSishing” is phishing via text message. Just like with email phishing, the scammer tries to lure you into revealing information or performing an action you normally wouldn’t do by pretending to be a legitimate organization.
9) Phony E-tailers: Phony e-commerce sites, that appear real, try to lure you into typing in your credit card number and other personal details, often by promoting great deals. But, after obtaining your money and information, you never receive the merchandise, and your personal information is put at risk.
10) Fake charities: This is one of the biggest scams of every holiday season. As we open up our hearts and wallets, the bad guys hope to get in on the giving by sending spam emails advertising fake charities.
11) Dangerous e-cards: E-Cards are a popular way to send a quick “thank you” or holiday greeting, but some are malicious and may contain spyware or viruses that download onto your computer once you click on the link to view the greeting.
12) Phony classifieds: Online classified sites may be a great place to look for holiday gifts and part-time jobs, but beware of phony offers that ask for too much personal information or ask you to wire funds via Western Union, since these are most likely scams.

When Francine came back into the lounge the treat sticks had gone, and so had the pendant. She searched high and low, all over the house, but couldn't find it. When I got home I looked again, and in the end we came to the conclusion the cat's eaten it.'' A vet removed the necklace through surgery.

I have too much other stuff going on. (I thought) ‘Is this really something safe for me to do?’ Kanye was actually one of the people who really talked me into doing it and telling me, like, ‘Hey, look, what do you guys do for fun? You guys go shopping, you go to the movies. Kind of step into our world for a second and have fun, and we go to the studio.’ I’m just doing it for fun.”

JLo is in love with Casper Smart. A source says, ''One of the things that made Jennifer fall in love with Casper is how good he is with Max and Emme. He spoils the kids almost as much as he spoils Jen. Last week he bought them a roll out piano they can walk on. They flipped out. Jennifer loves that he is a really open and honest guy and they really connect emotionally. Plus he stands up to her. Jennifer is so excited to have made it to the one year mark, not only because she's so in love with Casper but because she kind of feels like it's them against everyone else. They've taken such a beating from family and friends because he's so young. It felt like everyone was trying to split them up for the longest time but they stuck it out.''

So when the trees went down, I was in the dark. I was like a caveman for eight days! The lights went out last Monday, and that meant no water, no phones, no light! And this time of year, it gets dark at about 4:30, and it got cold in the house. So it was just me and the cat. Happily, my wife was in another place. And I said, 'Don't come here, because there's barely enough stuff. Stay put'. The minute I went to bed, the cat would get under the covers and never move. Just a little bit of heat."

I saw them at the Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood on August 25 and Selena did NOT look happy. They were seeing their friend, comedian Bo Burnham perform. When they left, Justin was talking to all these girls who wanted pictures taken with him. He was laughing and flirting, while Selena just stood in the corner waiting for him.
