Her life has been forever changed. Immeasurably altered. Every day is a continual struggle to do those things she was once so good at. If she was not born with the name Gabby, someone would have given it to her. Now she struggles with each and every word. Gabby struggles to walk, she is partially blind. You sought to extinguish the beauty of life. You tried to create for all of us a world as dark and evil as your own. Know this and know this always: You failed.''

5 Things Not To Buy During the Holidays from kiplinger.com
Laptops Most new laptop and computer models (and, this year, tablets) are released in October and November, just in time for the holidays. Retailers need to make room for the new inventory and will discount older models in late summer and early fall. If owning the most up-to-date technology isn’t a top priority, then back-to-school season may be a better time to get a deal on a laptop.
Cameras It would be nice to give your spouse a new camera to take pictures of the kids during the holidays. But you may be able to get a better deal in February. The biggest electronic trade shows of the year happen in January and February, when new models are introduced. By late February, older camera models sell at discounts of 30% or more. Presidents’ Day weekend is an especially good time to find sales.
Skis You may want a new set of skis in time for a holiday ski trip, but the best deals are in March and April, as the ski season winds down and stores discount models from the past winter.
Bicycles The riding season winds down for most people as cold weather arrives, so you may think that bicycles are ripe for discounts. You're right -- if you wait until after the holiday rush. By then, discounts will be steep on older models. Shops are more likely to throw in a few extra free accessories because they are looking for business during the slow winter months. Plus, fewer customers mean you’ll get more personal service.
Cars Forget the notion of waking up on Christmas morning to find a new car in the driveway. Instead, think New Year’s Eve (during business hours, of course) to get the best deal. Car dealers are in the mood to haggle and clear their inventory before year-end to make room for new models and earn manufacturer incentives. TrueCar, which collects automobile data, estimates prices on vehicles nationwide will average 9% below sticker price on December 31. Looking for a used car? Hold off until April for the best deals. It’s the month dealers tend to buy the most at auction, giving you the best selection.
10 Little Ways To Drop The Pounds And Keep Them Off from health.com
Order Two Appetizers According to a study at the University of North Carolina, the average hamburger is 23 percent larger today than it was in 1977. Choose a pasta dish and salad or soup from the appetizer column, instead.
Visit the Vending Machine Nibbling on single servings is better than digging your way to the bottom of a megabag of chips.
Start with Salad... and eat less during the rest of the meal, says a study from Pennsylvania State University. When salads were topped with low-fat mozzarella and low-calorie Italian dressing instead of high-fat alternatives, women ate 10 percent fewer calories over the course of the day.
Stick a Fork In It If you prefer your salad dressing on the side, dip your fork into it before stabbing your greens. That little maneuver could cut hundreds of calories.
Watch Coffee Calories The fancy concoctions that are now the javas of choice for many people can contain as many calories as an entire lunch.
Walk and Talk When your cell phone rings, slip on your walking shoes and stroll the halls at work or hoof it outside. If you did this for 10 minutes every workday at a moderate 3 mph pace, you’d burn about 1,000 calories a month and lose 3 pounds a year.
Crack a Nut Dieters in a Harvard University study who ate a handful of peanuts or mixed nuts daily were more likely to keep weight off than a group whose regimen didn’t include the high-fat snacks.
Don't Just Sit There The average person burns 100 calories per hour sitting and 140 per hour standing. Get on your feet 2 hours a day while you work, and you could drop an extra 6 pounds over the year.
Sleep Well, Lose More Insufficient shut-eye appears to increase production of the stress hormone cortisol, which regulates appetite. High levels seem to worsen bingeing and hunger; moreover, too little sleep could keep your body from burning carbohydrates, which translates to more stored body fat.
Double Your Protein The high-protein, low-carb approach may help keep you from losing muscle along with fat, according to a study published in The Journal of Nutrition. According to study, the amino acid leucine—found in beef, dairy, poultry, fish, and eggs—may help preserve muscle tissue.

His Craigslist ad read: "Greetings to everyone who is reading this, I am unable to give my name for obvious reason, but all you do need to know is that I am a vampire. I am in need of a blood donor for my personal use. Being a donor is not all fun and games, mixed with mysticism and sex; but it can be if that is what we wish. I am looking for either men or women, but I would prefer men since I lean more towards them in terms of blood and sex. It would also be great if you were either AB- or O-, for those are the blood types that I am used to. This would be an intimate, one-on-one, experience. I use a wide range of techniques, in case you would carry for something other than myself biting you."

Sofia Vergara‘s fiance, Nick Loeb, is allegedly controlling. A source tells the National Enquirer, “He fired Sofia’s beloved maid a few weeks ago. He warned Sofia’s handlers that her manager is on the chopping block too, because Nick wants to push her more into movies and away from TV. She has no idea the extent to which Nick is trying to take control of her career and finances. He’s treating Sofia more like a bank cash machine than a bride-to-be. And Sofia is such a loving, trusting woman that she would never suspect that Nick is using her for her fortune. Some of Sofia’s friends think she’s about to make the biggest mistake of her life. But Nick has some sick, weird power over her. Nick’s a very controlling guy.”
Kourtney Kardashian allegedly wants more kids. A source tells OK magazine,“Kourtney's not only talking about getting pregnant again by summer, she’s making some plans. A source tells Hollywoodlife.com, “Rob and Kristen will kiss on the red carpet during the pictures phase of the Breaking Dawn Part 2 carpet. It’s currently a plan for them to do it and the only way Rob and Kristen won’t do it is if Kristen chickens out. Rob is 100% for it, but Kristen has had reservations to do it in fear of embarrassment. She feels like it would be awkward to do it for show. Summit introduced the idea to both of them and they are currently going to run with it.''

A source tells the Star, “Mariah decided it was time for some tough love and after the pretty harsh conversation, they both ended up in tears. I didn't feel that it was the time for me to do something like that. And also, I was doing something else, so I passed. This time, when I read it, I felt that it was very powerful material, and I wanted to join. Daniel Craig says, “I was very reluctant to say yes to Bond. I couldn’t understand why I was being asked. It was off my radar. It was a very nice offer but I thought they had the wrong guy. They were quite persistent. I had to do an all-day screen test. You have to do a scene from From Russia with Love. It was nerve-wracking, but I did that and then I had to take my shirt off for some odd reason – I don’t know what that was about!”
Daniel Craig 'stalked' Javier Bardem for Skyfall. He says, ''I'm one of Javier's biggest fans. I'm a bit of a stalker in fact, because I actually did stalk him to get him for this part - I went to a party he was at so I could ask him to do it, and he said yes.' It was a lot of fun to shoot. He took the part that way and I think it was a really good choice. I just think it's amusing, light-hearted. I hope people find it funny because I certainly do. It makes me laugh every time I see it.''
Lady Gaga bathes in perfume. She says, ''Perfume is not something you have to be shy with - I like to bathe in it. Fragrance makes me feel desirable and I prefer more luscious, sl**ty scents. I actually decided on this perfume because it won over a man and he was a good catch. I love it when my friends get me ready, like a geisha. We all gather together and have champagne and a smoke and put on crowns and tell each other how much we love each other. Nanny Poppins, my nanny, also helps me by running a warm bath and scrubbing my skin so I can be the best for my fans.''
