 10.3 million people watched America’s Got Talent on Monday. That's down 16% from last year's premiere.


- 7-Eleven is offering a new, sugar-free Slurpee called Slurpee Lite. It's made with Splenda.


- Demi Lovato
is being paid $1 million to judge The X Factor.


- Linda Hogan and Charlie Hill have broken up
. She is 52. He is 23.


- Ryan Seacrest
has purchased Ellen DeGeneres' Beverly Hills estate for $49 million.


- The Hollywood Reporter claims Robert Downey Jr will earn $50 million from The Avengers once box-office bonuses and backend compensation are figured into his salary.


- Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel gave birth to a baby girl yesterday. Her name is Wyatt Lilly

 

WTF: Birmingham Falls Elementary School, in Milton, Georgia, recently made students sign pledges not to write acronyms, like 'LOL', in school yearbooks. Student Roxy Silva says, "Freedom of speech -- that's one of our amendments, people. No one really liked it. I thought it was kind of stupid. They will take you to the principal's office, talk to your parents and take your yearbook away." Most parents told their kids to ignore the pledge.

 

Casper Smart has to watch what he wears around JLo. He says, “She has great fashion. It definitely makes me pull up and I have to go a little bit harder and watch what I wear. I can’t walk around in sweats and just chill out clothes. I’ve got to [look] nice.”

 

Husband Gets Arrested For Being A Heel: A Barrie, Ontario, Canada man was recently arrested for cutting up his wife's shoes. The couple had an argument before the husband destroyed the heels. He was charged with assault and mischief.

 

Brad Pitt is taking helicopter flying lessons. A source says, "They've (Brangelina) had a helicopter pad installed in the grounds of their south of France home, Chateau Miraval, so Ange thought it would be nice to buy Brad a helicopter as a surprise present. But even though Brad has his private pilot's license, he still needs to take a few flying lessons, which he'll start straight away."

 

Kelly Preston and John Travolta may try for another child. She says, "I always wanted to have more kids. I feel like I would even have another child, but it might be pushing it. I'm not afraid to love and to love deeply. My kids help me with that. They open up your heart so much. There's nothing like the love of a child... it's the greatest thing ever."

 

JLo has offered Britney Spears tips on how to judge The X Factor. She said, "Just be yourself. I think it's just about really being your true self, not trying to be something that you're not. I feel a little scared for them 'cause I was scared when I started. It's live TV - there's a lot of pressure that goes with it - but I think they'll do great. They've both been in the spotlight since they were very young, so they'll be fine."

  

JLo doesn't know if she'll return to American Idol. She tells Perez Hilton, "I enjoy it. I really do enjoy it. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down…Now the twins are getting more mobile. They're about to go to school. I just don't know. I don't know."

Lady GaGa may have to cancel her upcoming concert in Indonesia because she was unable to get a performance permit. Many are protesting her show including one man, who says, "Lady Gaga insults all religions. Even Christians in Korea opposed her. She is promoting the worship of Satan."

 

 Battleship director Peter Berg made sure Rihanna had her own security team while filming. He says, "My biggest challenge was making sure Rihanna never got eaten by a shark. My fear was that I would be the director that allowed Rihanna to be eaten by a shark. So I was very careful - when she was in the water I had men around her and they were (to make a gesture) if they saw one."

 

Chris Brown took girlfriend Karrueche Tran to a Hollywood hotspot for her birthday. A source tells Hollywoodlife.com, “Chris bought Karrueche more than $10,000 of Cristal and Ace of Spades champagne. They were all over each other, kissing and stuff. They definitely looked very in love. Chris kept whispering in her ear. They walked in together, but there was so much paparazzi that they left separately.”

 

Tom Cruise rehearsed with Def Leppard for his role in Rock of Ages. He tells Playboy, “I was down in Miami, recording different songs. And director Adam Shankman called and said, ‘Def Leppard’s coming by the set.’ I said, ‘Man, that’s cool.’ Then I paused. ‘Wait, I’m rehearsing their song tomorrow.’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah!’ [laughs] So we started right in the deep end, and that was the first scene I shot in the movie…They went to the back of the Bourbon Room, and I looked at my band and was like, ‘Hit it.’ All the crew was watching them watching me. Joe Elliott, points at me and goes, ‘F— you! F— you!’ Then I saw big smiles on their faces, and I realized I’d gotten their stamp. It was a very cool moment. It was important they knew I was honoring their music and not making fun of them.”

 

Saturday Night Live star Kristen Wiig is helping Katy Perry transition to acting. A source says, “Katy is plotting a huge image and career makeover. Coming off a painful divorce from Russell, she wants to start fresh. She feels like she’s reached her full potential as a musician. She is looking for new challenges and is begging Kristen to write a comedy for her. Even people who don’t know Katy’s music know her form her Proactiv ad campaign.
