Last year, 24,000 signed up the day after Mother's Day. This year, Ashley Madison is expecting 30,000 new female enrollments. No Vacancy: New York's Peninsula Hotel allegedly banned John Travolta in the early 2000s because of several run-ins with male spa employees. Michael Caputo, a one-time Peninsula masseur, tells the NY Daily News, “Travolta would always request a man for his massage, but after a while no one would take him because of his inappropriate behavior. It got to the point where they couldn’t find any men to take him, and they had to ban him. Male staffers complained about Travolta removing his towel, grinding against the massage table and lifting his butt in the air. These are signs to a massage therapist that he was trying to see how much he could get away with. They went to management.”
Mall Madness: With students about to begin their summer break, the NorthPark Center Mall in Dallas has instituted a new rule that calls for those under 17 to be accompanied by an adult when in the mall after 6:00 p.m.. Mall security guards will randomly check IDs of unaccompanied teens. If they are 17 or under, and without a parent or guardian, they'll be asked to leave. I can tell you that we've also spoken with all of the merchants in NorthPark and they think this a very good idea."

Anti Social
50% of Facebook users say the social networking site makes them feel self-conscious about their bodies and weight. The associate director of the Center for Eating Disorders says, "People are now constantly aware of their appearance, thanks to Facebook. A common reaction is, 'I need to be thinner' And it's that kind of thinking that can lead to hazardous dieting. Facebook is an influential factor in developing severe eating disorders. The worst part is the new Facebook timeline. It can so easily show a person how much better they used to look. That can lead to depression, which can lead to eating disorders, which can lead to a multitude of health problems."
$weet Treat: Serendipity 3 is selling a $1,000 ice cream sundae that's made with 23-carat gold and the world's rarest chocolate. The New York ice cream shop's Golden Opulence Sundae is listed as the Guinness Book of World Records' most expensive dessert. Customers must place orders for the sundae two days in advance because the rare ingredients have to be flown in from around the world. Tahitian Vanilla ice cream infused with Madagascar Vanilla, an edible gold leaf, chunks of the rarest Venezuelan Chuao chocolate, chocolate truffles, marzipan cherries and a gilded sugar flower, that takes eight hours to create, are all part of the dessert.

The 34 year-old unemployed Akron, Ohio electrician super-glued his hand shut to make sure it never opened. He says, “I used to hang light fixtures, so I am used to having my hands above my head. Whatever her fine is now doesn’t bother her. She has so much money she probably doesn’t notice. The other mentors can’t stand how late she is. They know she’s a girl and she takes longer to get ready, but this is ridiculous. And when she gets to set she still has to go through hair and makeup

I was a bit worried . . . I was in my pajamas as well because I had been working the day before . . .[but] nobody recognized me. A couple of people looked round, but . . . like, 'What would she be doing walking through Trafalgar Square in pajamas?' I just want to make music. I mean, I still hope I have a little bit of clout in ten years. But all I've ever wanted to do was sing.''

We are actually in Tim Burton's old studio right now called Swinghouse doing our new Aerosmith album, and Johnny will come down every other night. And then when we are done recording I go up to Johnny's house and I play him stuff and ask if it is any good... He gives me (honest feedback)."
