- TMZ claims MTV is looking to phase out Snooki and The Situation from the Jersey Shore because they want to infuse the show with new talent. The Situation's rehab center forbids muscle shirts, sleeveless tops, ripped jeans, hats, sunglasses, and any clothing with obscene language.
- North Carolina tourism is expected to get a boost because The Hunger Games was filmed there. One company is already offering hotel packages, zip-line tours and lessons in survival skills. Box office results below.
- The New York Jets want Tim Tebow to live in New Jersey because of the temptation of Manhattan's nightlife. He saw Wicked over the weekend. It was his first Broadway show.
- Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are expecting their fourth child.
- Ray J spent the weekend continuing to deny he supplied Whitney Houston with cocaine.
- Jessica Simpson wants to star in the remake of the I Love Lucy TV series
- Sly Stallone is selling a new line of $5,000 designer fountain pens. Each pen is made of silver, 18-carat gold, and precious jewels.
- The LAPD has inspected Lindsay Lohan's car and does not believe she struck a man while leaving a club last week.

- Dick Cheney underwent a heart transplant this past weekend. He waited 20 months for a donor.
- 29 year-old Leanne Zaloumis was arrested over the weekend for breaking into Simon Cowell's London home. She entered through a basement window and walked in on Simon as he was watching TV. Leanne didn't steal anything.
- Director James Cameron dove to the deepest place on Earth yesterday in the Pacific Ocean. He tweeted: “@JimCameron is the first person in history to solo dive to the deepest place on Earth, a record 35,756ft/10,898m” — not quite 7 miles down." James filmed his dive with four HD cameras.
- Kobe Bryant has purchased a $329,000 red Ferrari
- I Love Dog Diamonds is selling a 52-carat diamond dog collar for $3.2 million. It features 1,600 diamonds.
- Gallagher suffered another heart attack yesterday after running out of his heart medication. He was rushed to an Arizona hospital where he is being treated
Hooray for Hollywood: Here are this past weekend's box office results.
1. "The Hunger Games," $155 million ($59.3 million international). The Hunger Games set a revenue record for a non-sequel, taking in more than twice what the first "Twilight" movie did with its $69.6 million opening weekend. The Hunger Games' $155 million opening is the third best opening ever behind last year's $169 million "Harry Potter" opening and the $158.4 million opening of "The Dark Knight."
2. "21 Jump Street," $21.3 million ($5.3 million international).
3. "Dr. Seuss' the Lorax," $13.1 million ($5.5 million international).
4. "John Carter," $5 million ($22.2 million international).
5. "Act of Valor," $2.1 million.
Hungry Games: Emily Baines has published 'The Unofficial Hunger Games Cookbook'. She says their are 150 recipes for squirrel, raccoon, goat cheese balls, apples and tree rat. "I bought new copies of each book since I didn’t want to mess up my own and then went through with a highlighter marking all mentions of food, even an apple on a tree. Some required more exploring than others, [for example] the groosling doesn’t exist but in the book it says it looks like wild turkey. Stuff like that I had to hope I was as true as possible."
Privacy Policy: Facebook may sue employers, who ask potential hires for their passwords. Facebook's chief privacy officer, Erin Egan, says, 'If you are a Facebook user, you should never have to share your password. We have worked really hard at Facebook to give you the tools to control who sees your information. That’s why we’ve made it a violation of Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities to share or solicit a Facebook password."
Dude Looks Like A Lady: Miss Universe Canada has disqualified finalist Jenna Talackova of Vancouver. A competition official said, “She did not meet the requirements to compete despite having stated otherwise on her entry form.” Jenna was born with male genitalia and underwent sexual reassignment surgery in 2010 after living most of her life as a woman. Miss Universe Canada’s only expressed requirements are that the contestant be a Canadian citizen and between the ages of 18 and 27.
Magic Touch: Broncos star Brian Dawkins says Tim Tebow helped heal his neck. Deadspin quotes him as saying, "In our Bible study sessions when my neck was pretty bad and I'm hurting, Tebow along with our chaplain and Broncos director of player development Jerry Butler laid hands and prayed on me pretty good. They brought snot and tears to my eyes and all that type of good stuff with prayer."
The Salt Lake City police recently arrested Charlies Iorg for stealing his father's credit card. He hired a limo and spent a night in a posh hotel. Iorg also bought his chauffeur a laptop computer from an Apple store. The 26-year-old racked up $5,400 in charges before returning the card. Iorg left his food stamps card behind when he checked out of the Grand America Hotel. Cops used it to track him down.

A new survey by the WeddingChannel.com reveals that the average budget for an engagement ring in 2011 was $5,130. That's down 5% from the year before. Other findings:
- the average cost of a wedding is $27,021.
- 20% of couples spend more than $30,000 on their wedding. 11% spent more than $40,000 on their wedding in 2011.
- the average length of an engagement is 14 months.
- the largest wedding budgets came from Manhattan at $65,824, while West Virginia couples budgeted the least with an average of $14,203.
Pane In the Glass: Evelyn Paswall is suing Apple for $1,000,000 after smashing her face on a glass door at a Long Island Apple Store. The 83 year-old says the glass doors at the front of Apple Stores pose a risk to the elderly. Her attorney, Derek T. Smith, says, ,“Apple wants to be cool and modern and have the type of architecture that would appeal to the tech crowd, but on the other hand, they have to appreciate the danger that this high-tech modern architecture poses to some people.” Paswall claims that she didn’t realize that she was walking into a wall of glass as she approached the store, and says that she broke her nose as a result of the collision.
Man Announces Divorce On Mall PA System: A Saudi man recently used a shopping mall's loudspeaker to announce his divorce. The Middle Eastern man was shopping with his wife and three kids when he saw another man hand his wife a piece of paper with his phone number. She placed it in her purse and acted like nothing happened. The husband then announced he was leaving her.
Hot Mom Gets Arrested For Burning Daughter's Bedroom: The Orlando police recently arrested Adriene Ashley for lighting her daughter's bedroom on fire. The 16 year-old told cops she was getting ready for school when her mother demanded she come out of her room. When she didn't, her mother lit a piece of paper on fire and pushed it through a hole in her bedroom door. It ignited a chair, which was extinguished with a cup of water. Adriene told officers her daughter became verbally abusive towards her and called her "stupid" and "petty." She said she threw the burning paper into the room to try to get her daughter to come out so she wouldn't miss her school bus.
Home Alone: A London mother was recently arrested for leaving her baby home alone for five days while she partied with friends. She came home periodically to feed the infant Cheerios. Neighbors heard the baby crying and called the police. They found the 16-month-old starving in her crib. Her diaper and clothes had not been changed for days. The baby is now being cared for by relatives.
Batman Gets Arrested: The Montgomery County, Maryland police recently stopped Batman for driving a black Lamborghini without tags. The driver was dressed as the Dark Knight when officers asked him to step out of his car. Officers posted pictures of Batman and his car on Facebook. One fan Tweeted: "LET HIM DO HIS JOB."
Woman Ponies Up For Collection: Sarah Butler has a My Little Pony collection worth $31,000. The 29 year-old Londoner has over 1,000 ponies in her 'pony room'. She also has My Little Pony stuffed animals, curtains, a bedspread, a lamp shade and a pink and blue Dream Castle. Sarah says, "It's just a bright, happy, comforting place that reminds me of being a child but also reminds me of now, because even though I just turned 29, I'm a My Little Pony fan and there's nothing wrong with that."
The Sun claims Rihanna and Ashton Kutcher have been secretly seeing one another for 8 weeks. A source says, "The flirting began as soon as Rihanna and Ashton met and swapped numbers. That moved onto texts and arranging to meet. They snuck off to a santa Monica hotel a few weeks ago. They are two single people having a fling, so thought it would be best to meet in secret. Rihanna has told friends he's funny and cute. Both of them love a good time and think they're too busy for anything serious just yet. She's starting to inquire about Kabbalah sessions with his rabbi. If she and Ashton are getting really close, she wants to be able to understand it."

A judge has given Britney Spears approval to judge The X Factor. A source tells RADAR Online, "Britney's team is almost ready to sign the contract for her to become a judge on X Factor. Before the contract is signed, the lawyers needed to get approval from Judge Reva Goetz, as all business transactions, contracts, etc., need to get formal approval. Judge Goetz wanted to talk to Britney in person to make sure this is something that she wanted to do, and that she was capable of doing. The judge was extremely impressed and Britney is very, very excited to become a part of Simon Cowell's show. The judge signed off on the deal."
Miley Cyrus is not engaged to Liam Hemsworth. Bloggers started speculating after she was seen wearing a giant diamond ring. A jeweler tells Hollywoodlife.com the ring is worth $50,000. “They don’t sell rings like that anymore. It looks too old to have been purchased recently.”
Taylor Swift is ok with being a role model. She says, "I'm not uncomfortable with it. You have to be conscious of that. If you're choosing to put out music and be out there in the public, you have to be conscious of the fact that you are a part of the raising of the next generation and you do have an impact on that.
