- Kanye West's home was burglarized yesterday. The LAPD says, ''The owner wasn't home at the time, and it is unknown if any property was taken.''


- Snooki
is using a Hovercraft to get around on the set of Jersey Shore.


- Jennifer Love-Hewitt's mom has died of cancer.


- Stephen Hanks, an L.A. talent manager, is suing Bristol Palin for defamation.
The two got into a bar fight after he slammed her mother. Bristol asked Stephen if he was gay. Lifetime is also being sued for airing the footage.

iBad: Hannah Metcalfe is allergic to iPads and cell phones. The pregnant 34 year-old Londoner has a condition called electro-sensitivity and suffers from splitting headaches and stomach cramps when exposed to electromagnetic waves. She says, “I need to avoid Wi-Fi as much as I can. It makes me ill and I have to consider what it could be doing to the baby. I’d love to go to a cafe but everywhere seems to have Wi-Fi. There’s no escape.”

 

Flyin' The Friendly Skies: John Travolta's former pilot, Don Gotterba, is allegedly writing a tell-all book about their six-year affair. A source tells the National Enquirer, "It could be a marriage-ender. Even though she wasn't married to John at the time, she's already been terribly humiliated by this ugly scandal that doesn't seem to end. A book by a man who John carried on with for multiple years would simply be too much."

 

Wrong Way: Frank Fazio is suing Apple because Siri gave him the wrong directions. He claims the iPhone commercials are “fundamentally and designedly false and misleading.” The lawsuit claims Fazio “asked Siri for directions to a certain place, or to locate a store. Siri either did not understand what he was asking or after a very long wait time responded with the wrong answer.”

 

Daddy's Little Girl

A study by Poland's University of Durham reveals that women are attracted to men, who look like their fathers. Dr. Lynda Boothroyd studied 49 women and found that those, who had good relationships with their fathers as youngsters sought out mates with similar physical attributes. She says, "It was not that the women who did not have such a good relationship with their father went out to avoid similar faces. It was more that those who had the best relationships were particularly drawn to men who looked like their dads." Researchers showed the women two sets of pictures. One set featured men who looked like their fathers while the other featured men who looked nothing like their dads. Almost all of the women were attracted to the men who looked like their fathers.

 

Dear Old Dad

A new survey  reveals that 40% of dads want quality time with family (dinner, grilling, outing) for Father’s Day followed by a gift card (13%) and a tech gadget (8%). Other findngs:

- 46% of people typically spend nothing on a Father’s Day gift. 20% spend between $1 and $25, while the same proportion spend between $26 and $50. Only 15% of people typically spend more than $50 on a Father’s Day gift

- 60% of dads don't expect their partner to get them a Father’s Day gift, while 31% do expect a gift.

- 77% of people feel mothers tend to get more attention on Mother’s Day than dads do on Father’s Day

 

Red Red Wine: University of Western Australia scientists have created a new line of underwear made from red wine. They added a bacteria to the alcohol to create a cotton-like substance. The scientists also made dresses, t-shirts and swimwear.

 

iCat: Anne Druais' cat is addicted to playing games on her iPad. The Sydney, Australia native says, "She has been playing with the iPad for the last four to five months. We thought it'd be a good idea to amuse her with something else than rubber balls and strings. We started with really simple things and now that she's more interested you can see she's almost developing her skills. She's certainly evolving with it. I think she certainly enjoys it because she's intrigued by it. She's intrigued by the sound but also the pictures that move around and in and out of the frame."

 

Homer The Philopsher: Homer Simpson’s words of wisdom are featured in a new book called 'The Book of Business Quotations'. His advice includes: ‘If you don’t like your job you don’t strike. You just go in every day and do it really half-assed. That’s the American way’ and: ‘The three little sentences that will get you through life. Number 1: Cover for me. Number 2: Oh, good idea, boss. Pie In the Sky: The Steveston Pizza Company serves Canada's most expensive pizza. It costs $450 and features lobster, black Alaskan cod and Russian caviar. Margo's Pizzeria in Malta sells a pie with white truffles and a 24-carat gold leaf for $2,400.

iPoo: 300,000 people have downloaded the $1 iPoo app. It allows users to share their experiences while going to the bathroom. App designer Amit Khanna says, "Imagine that you're on the can, and think about the things that you would maybe want to do," he said. "I'm not ashamed of it whatsoever -- it's a conversation starter."

 

Miley Cyrus may be pregnant. A source tells the Star, “Miley has cut back on drinking and partying, and when her friends ask why, she winks and pats her belly. She is only eating veggies and complaining of exhaustion, nausea, and mood swings."

 

Ryan Reynolds writes love poems to Blake Lively. A source tells Life & Style Weekly, "He writes personalized sonnets to Blake via email and handwritten letters. When he travels and is away from her, he is constantly serenading her with poems and love letters. He loves sending her excerpts of his favorite quotes. Scarlett was always embarrassed and thought Ryan was silly when he did this. Blake is the complete opposite -- she saves everything."

 

Soundgarden's Chris Cornell thinks Adele should sing the next Bond theme. He says, "Adele would be the perfect choice, I can't think of a better one. She's phenomenal and it's nice, in a day and age where so many vocals are fixed by computers, that the biggest album of last year was somebody who sings for real. I would hate to see music become more mechanistic and less human, so her success has been great."

The Wanted may record with JLo. They say, "She's got a great arse. Our two labels are in discussions. It would be a dream come true for us."

 

Carrie Underwood continues to support gay marriage. She says, “Our church is gay friendly. Above all, God wanted us to love others. It’s not about setting rules, or [saying] ‘everyone has to be like me.’ No. We’re all different. That’s what makes us special. We have to love each other and get on with each other. It’s not up to me to judge anybody.”

  

 

 

Britney Spears is the Sexiest Woman in Music . . . And Adam Lambert is the Sexiest Man

 

According to a new poll , BRITNEY SPEARS is Music's Sexiest Woman.  By a LANDSLIDE.  Britney came away with 45% of the vote . . . followed by LADY GAGA with only 12%.

 

 --Here's the Top 10, which accounts for a little over 90% of the vote:

  #1.)  Britney Spears,  45%

 #2.)  Lady Gaga,  12%

 #3.)  Beyonce,  8%

 #4.)  Rihanna,  6%

 #5.)  Katy Perry,  5%

 For Music's Sexiest Men, the voting was a lot closer.  ADAM LAMBERT "only" got 26% of the vote, while second-place finisher ADAM LEVINE had 12%. 

 (--That's a gap of 14%, as opposed to 33% for the ladies.)
