Bieber Fever: Bieber Fever is an actual disease. University of Ottawa researchers Valerie Tweedle and Robert Smith say, "Bieber Fever has similar properties to other infectious diseases, such as a rapid rate of transmission in large populations, eventual recovery and debilitating scarring (in the form of inappropriate tattoos of Justin Bieber's name/face). Symptoms include uncontrollable crying and/or screaming, excessive purchasing of memorabilia, making poor life choices (e.g. copycat hairstyles), and distraction from everyday life. Negative media can rein in oversaturation, but continuous negative media (the Lindsay Lohan effect) is the only way to end Bieber Fever. The only methods to help control the spread of infection are to publish more negative media stories about him than positive, such as involving him in a sex scandal or exploit his bad haircut choices and increasing the number of times those negative stories appear in the media. Eradicating Bieber Fever presents significant challenges, involving both local and media-driven events. It might be unlikely to happen in practice, but never say never."

John Travolta is upset that his longtime secretary, Joan Edwards, betrayed him. She told the National Enquirer, “I did everything for him, including taking care of his personal and professional schedules. Of course I knew he was gay. It never bothered me.”
A source tells the Sun Times, "This latest revelation is only making them increasingly depressed. While they can deal with those masseurs, who have sued Travolta, alleging inappropriate sexual advances on his part, seeing longtime associates like Joan betraying a trust really cuts to the heart. … It’s very sad to see that.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently treated their friends and family to $6,000 worth of Indian food at a London restaurant. A source says they left a $1,500 tip. “The staff couldn’t believe it when Brad and Angelina Jolie walked in — they’d been given no prior warning. There were five friends and two of their bodyguards there and they ordered a mountain of food and booze. It might seem hard to believe that they ran up a bill of nearly $6,000 at a normal curry house but they are really generous and extravagant.”
Tommy Chong has prostate cancer. He says, “I’ve got prostate cancer, and I’m treating it with hemp oil, with cannabis. So I know it had nothing to do with cannabis. Cannabis is a cure.”

Tom Brady likes Carly Rae Jepsen's song “Call Me Maybe.” He says, “That’s a good song. I heard it and I said, ‘God, who’s this?’ That song’s kinda catchy.”
Justin Bieber's new song, Maria, is about Mariah Yeater, the woman, who falsely accused him of fathering a son with her when he was 16. He tells Billboard, “That’s my ‘Billie Jean.' It was something I wanted to get off my chest, and I could just say it in a song and get my point across without having to worry about the words I’m using in an interview.”
Lady GaGa was recently performing "Judas" in concert when a pole crashed down on her head. She told fans, "I want to apologize. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are planning a summer wedding for 2013. A source tells Hollywoodlife.com, “Nothing has been definite yet. She’s just pretty much brainstorming everything about her wedding. I know she wants to have a summer wedding, something on the water maybe. It’s totally going to be something not ordinary. That’s Miley for you. It will be something completely different than normal but appropriate for she and Liam.”
American Idol's Lauren Alaina contributed backing vocals on Aerosmith's new song, “Oh Yeah”. She says, “I don’t know if it’s gonna be on the album or not ’cause they’re making final decisions, but the fact that I got to go in the studio with Aerosmith, that’s fine with me. I mean, who gets to say that? Not many people.”
