10 Movies that make men cry & one nation...under Coke!

By Vikki Locke

Here Are the 10 Movies That Make Men Cry

Kleenex did a survey of Australian women, and ALL of them said they'd seen their husband or boyfriend cry at a movie.

Only 40% said they'd cried at the birth of their children . . . 25% cried on their wedding day . . . and 10% cried when their favorite sports team lost.  Anyway, here are the ten movies most likely to get a guy choked up:

#1.)  "Marley and Me"

#2.)  "Red Dog":  That was an Australian movie released last year . . . about ANOTHER dog that dies.  So apparently that does the trick.

 #3.)  "Life is Beautiful"

 #4.)  "The Shawshank Redemption"

 #5.)  "The Notebook"

 #6.)  “Forrest Gump"

 #7.)  "Love Actually"

  #8.)  "Titanic"

#9.)  "My Sister's Keeper":  That's a Cameron Diaz movie from 2009 by the guy who directed "The Notebook", about a little girl with leukemia and her organ donor sister.

 #10.)  "Toy Story 3"

- Emma Watson
may play Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.

One nation, under Pepsi... or Coke.    Nearly half of all Americans --48 percent-- have at least one soda every single day.
The new Gallup poll found that the remaining 52 percent drink zilch, but among those who do reach for a soda, they drink an average of 2.6 glasses a day; seven percent say they have four or more.

It's the first time Gallup has asked about soda in its annual Consumption Habits poll, which found that, America's nearly 13-thousand Starbucks notwithstanding, coffee consumption really hasn't budged since 1999 --but it remains our liquid stimulant of choice. Some 64 percent of survey participants said they had at least one cup, up just a hair from 63 percent 13 years ago.

Miracle Baby: Katie Medley gave birth to a baby boy yesterday four days after being involved in The Dark Knight Rises shooting. Her husband, Caleb, is in the same hospital in a medically-induced coma fighting for his life. He got shot in the face, lost his right eye and suffered brain damage. Family friend Michael West says, “Caleb and his family have no insurance, and these hospital bills are going to be well into the hundreds if not thousands if not millions. Caleb and Katie will be struggling with these hospital bills for the rest of their lives.”

Mothra: London's Olympic Stadium is infested with moths and poisonous caterpillars that cause vomiting and dizziness. Moth expert Graham Warren tells the Daily Express, "People have so many clothes nowadays that the damage can be done undisturbed as clothes are left unworn. Even surface to air missiles will not be able to combat this powerful airborne menace. Some of the world’s top athletes could be taking home moth larvae as well as gold medals after the Games have ended.''

Grey Area: England's Damson Dene Hotel is replacing Bibles with copies of Fifty Shades of Grey. Owner Jonathan Denby says, “I was thinking originally of putting in a book by Ayn Rand — ‘Atlas Shrugged’ was my first thought. But because everybody is reading ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ we thought it would be a hospitable thing to do, to have this available for our guests, especially if some of them were a little bit shy about buying it because of its reputation

They are constantly fighting about everything, and it isn’t good.” Another source says, “Part of his role as co-conservator is to be with Britney every second that she is on the set of The X Factor, and he is getting fed up with it. He is constantly having to discipline her because of her erratic behavior on the show, which is creating major riffs in their relationship as well, because Britney doesn’t like to be scolded or told what to do. The mixing of business with pleasure has really damaged their relationship, and they are both really unhappy at this point.”

However, their request was shot down immediately as the estate has no legal obligations to Michael’s siblings.''

Katie Holmes has started a diary. A source tells OK! magazine, “Katie is constantly scribbling notes in her diary. It’s something she says is really helping her to cope. She actually got the idea from one of Oprah Winfrey’s shows discussing the value of keeping a journal. Writing down emotions with a pen and paper is proven to help the brain process stressful situations, and right now Katie is really struggling with anger, sadness and guilt. She’s writing about everything from her fun times with Suri to the difficulties with Tom.”

Snooki plans to film her birth. She says, "Jionni doesn't want that. He wants it to be private and I totally respect him for that. JACKSON FAMILY FEUD!

There is definitely something fishy going on with the Jackson clan.  Monday night, cops were called to a disturbance at the Calabasas, CA, home where Michael’s three children live. While no arrests were made, lawyers for Katherine Jackson yesterday released a statement claiming Katherine’s children, including Janet, Randy and Jermaine, stormed their way into the home and confronted Paris, Prince and Blanket.  “Yesterday afternoon certain Jackson family members ambushed Katherine Jackson’s home after their vehicle tore through security gates on the tails of the SUV containing Michael Jackson’s children,” read the statement.  "After exiting their vehicles, Jackson family members ran up to Michael’s children as they yelled and began to aggressively grab at the cell phones in their hands. Out of concern for the well-being of Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson, the children were forced to temporarily leave their home and were taken to a safe location." Click here for video.  Sources say Janet, Randy and Jermaine wanted the kids’ cellphones to stop them from tweeting personal information about the family.  The statement added that one member of the family “admitted that a plan has been in place for the past three years to remove Katherine Jackson from her home and her beloved grandchildren.”   Michael’s kids have reportedly not heard from their grandmother in nine days, when she left their California home to attend a Jackson family concert. She never made it to the show, and is said to be in Arizona with her daughter Rebbie.

The site claims the kids believe their grandmother has basically been kidnapped and they are all okay with TJ being their guardian in the meantime. He has reportedly acted like a parent to the kids in the past and they love him.

MODERN FAMILY CAST SUES STUDIO OVER RAISES!

There’s no doubt Modern Family is a huge hit, and the stars of the show are taking advantage of that. According to the Hollywood Reporter, cast members Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sofia Vergara and Ed O’Neill are all negotiating new contracts, with Julie, Ty, Jesse, Eric and Sofia negotiating as a team.  (Ed is negotiating separately because he already makes more money than the rest of the cast.)    The bitter talks took a bad turn earlier this week, when the cast rejected an offer from 20th Century Fox and yesterday’s first table read of the season had to be cancelled because the cast refused to show up.  And now things have gotten so bad that yesterday the cast, including O'Neill, actually filed a lawsuit against 20th Century Fox asking for their contracts to be voided. They are arguing that their initial deals violate California’s “7 Year Rule,” which prohibits contracts that last longer than seven years.
