Jermaine, Randy and Janet Jackson have been barred from their mother's home after attempting to remove Michael's children from the house. A source tells RADAR Online, "It was just total chaos when Jermaine, Randy and Janet descended on the house. Randy was telling Prince Michael he had to leave with them and that he had a private jet chartered to take them all to Arizona to see Katherine. Prince firmly held his ground and told Randy he wasn't going anywhere with them. The security detail prevented the three of them from taking the kids out of state. The rental house is in the name of Michael Jackson's estate, so they were told to leave immediately. MARIAH CAREY JOINS AMERICAN IDOL!

After weeks of rumors, it’s finally official – Mariah Carey has signed on to be a judge on Fox’s American Idol. Fox made the announcement during their Television Critics Association Press Tour in LA yesterday. “As a singer, songwriter and producer, it’s going to be fun and rewarding to help find new talent and give back with American Idol,” said Carey. “I’m currently in the studio working on my new album and its first single, ‘Triumphant,’ which will be out early next month. I can’t wait to channel my creative energy as a part of this show which is a massive global phenomenon.” A source tells Us Weekly that Mariah will get paid $18 million for the gig, making her the highest judge on any music show.  Of course, it didn’t take long for complaints about Mariah to surface.  A source tells TMZ that when Mariah was a gust mentor on Idol in 2008 she was a “nightmare to work with.” The insider says not only was Mariah late to her shoot, she was “not very nice at all." American Idol returns in January.

NEW WAYS TO AUDITION FOR IDOL!

In other Idol news… Fox announced yesterday they’ve come up with three new ways for Idol hopefuls to audition for season twelve. First off, there’s the “American Idol Small Town Audition Bus Tour,” which is a 10-city mobile tour hitting the road next month and stopping in places like Billings, Montana; Casper, Wyoming and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Secondly, the show has added something called “Nominate An Idol,” in which family and friends can go online and nominate individuals who they think deserve a shot at the title.  The show will also be accepting online auditions starting Wednesday, August 1^st through Tuesday August 14^th. MINKA SEX TAPE ON THE MARKET!

Minka Kelly is the latest actress to be embroiled in a sex tape scandal. TMZ reports the actress’s ex-boyfriend (not Derek Jeter) is trying to sell a 30-minute tape to the highest bidder. According to the site, the video is shot in a somewhat professional manner, with the camera perched on a tripod.  There’s no word on when it was filmed, although TMZ suggests Minka could have been underage at the time.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES MAKES $160.9 MIL OPENING WEEKEND!

After delaying the release of the box office numbers out of respect for the lives lost  during Friday’s tragedy in Colorado, the totals were finally released yesterday. As expected, The Dark Knight Rises did big business, earning $160.9 million, which was the third-best debut of all time, and the best ever for a 2-D movie. It appears that Friday’s tragedy, in which 12 people died and 58 were injured, may have affected the film’s numbers. Before it occurred, prognosticators expected the film to open with between $180  and $200 million.

ONE MILLION MOMS TAKES ON NBC’S THE NEW NORMAL!

The anti-gay group One Million Moms is at it again. The ultra-conservative group, which unsuccessfully fought to get JC Penney to drop Ellen DeGeneres as a spokesperson, is taking aim at Ryan Murphy’s upcoming NBC sitcom The New Normal, about two homosexual men who hire a surrogate in order to start a family. “NBC is using public airwaves to continue to subject families to the decay of morals and values, and the sanctity of marriage in attempting to redefine marriage,” executives wrote on the group’s site. “OMM is prepared to contact any and all sponsors of this program if it is aired.”  The New Normal premieres Tuesday, September 11^th on NBC.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are denying a report in Famous magazine in which a source claims their relationship “might be in trouble.”   The rumors apparently began after Orlando and Miranda were both spotted without their wedding rings. “She’s not wearing her ring, and she’s had a lot on her plate – it could be that somewhere along the way her relationship with Orlando may have slipped between the cracks,” claims the source. But a rep for the model is denying the claim, telling Gossip Cop, “There is absolutely no truth in the headline or story.”

Fred Willard doesn’t seem to be worried about his arrest last week for lewd behavior. The actor, who was busted at an LA porn theater, sent a Tweet on Monday where he seemed to be joking about the situation. "Wait til u hear my version; much more PG," he Tweeted on Monday morning. STAHL NO LONGER MISSING, IN TREATMENT!

Nick Stahl has reportedly been found again. The Terminator 3 star was reported missing by his wife back in May and then turned up later that month to check into rehab. But in June he left rehab and has been missing ever since. Now, Stahl’s wife Rose tells TMZ that he is back and currently attending AA meetings. They even posted a picture of the smiling actor and his wife.

MEL’S STEPMOM WANTS HIM TO PAY LEGAL BILLS!

The estranged wife of Mel Gibson’s father wants the actor to pay her legal bills. Teddy Joye Hicks Gibson has asked a judge to make Mel a party in her divorce proceedings from Hutton Gibson, claiming Mel pushed Hutton into filing for divorce back in June. Teddy also says Mel had her booted from her home. Because of this, Teddy feels Mel should pay her legal bills, which she says are around $65,000.  She also wants a judge to force Mel to let her back in the house, and wants $15,000 a month in spousal support from Hutton.

Cybill Shepherd is getting married again. The actress, who currently appears on Broadway in The Best Man, tells the New York Daily News she’s engaged to Andrei Nikolajevic. "He was a jeweler. Now, he's a psychologist," the 62-year-old actress says of her fiancé. "He's Serbian." Cybill says Andrei proposed a few weeks ago. "It was very romantic and on one knee," she said. "I never thought I'd get married again." This will be Cybill’s third marriage. She was previously married to David Ford (1978-1982) and Bruce Oppenheim (1987-1990).

MAYNARD’S FIANCÉ MOVING TO NORTH CAROLINA!

Looks like Emily Maynard’s new fiancé Jef Holm is serious about their relationship. Jef told Good Morning America yesterday he plans to move to Charlotte, North Carolina to be closer to The Bachelorette star and her six-year-old daughter Ricki. "I'm going to get a separate place there," Holm explained. "We're going to combine our lives and I'm going to hang out with Ricki all the time and become a car pool dad. We're just going to live our lives together and get accustomed with each other, plan a wedding, and when we get married, move in together." But apparently, first Emily is going to have to tell Ricki she’s getting hitched. "Right now she knows that Jef is a huge part of my life," said Emily. "I didn't want to burden her with too much because it was still a secret, and God knows she's the worst secret keeper ever! Now that we can be out in public, she's going to know." So far the couple has not made any wedding plans. Said Emily, “We’re just kind of taking it day by day.”

TV TIDBITS!

● Chuck’sAdam Baldwin has landed a recurring role on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU. He’ll play Capt. Steven Harris, who’ll be in charge of the Special Victims Unit while Capt. Cragen (Dann Florek) is being investigated for the murder of a prostitute.  Baldwin will appear in the show’s first three episodes. Law & Order: SVU premieres Wednesday, September 26^th.

● Modern Family’sSofia Vergara is lending her voice to Fox’s animated series Family Guy next season.  She’ll voice a character in a gag featuring Peter Griffin as a telenovela lothario, with Vergara voicing his lover. She’ll also play a woman selling roses in a restaurant. And that’s not Sofia’s only upcoming animated gig. She’ll turn up on The Cleveland Show, voicing a character named Tia Sofia, who tries to convince Cleveland to host a quinceanera for Cleveland, Jr.

● Fox had some big news to announce during their annual Television Critics Association Press Tour in LA yesterday. First off, the network’s two freshman comedies Ben and Kate and The Mindy Project will debut episodes on the web for two weeks beginning Monday, August 27^th. Also, anyone who didn’t watch  Zooey Deschanel’sNew Girl last season will be able to catch up on all 24 episodes starting Monday, July 30^th on Yahoo! The network also announced they’ve ordered a fourth season of  Masterchef.

● Although Mindy Kaling will be writing, producing and starring in her own Fox show The Mindy Project next season, she hasn’t completely said goodbye to The Office. Vulture reports that producers of the NBC comedy have worked out a deal to bring Mindy back for at least two episodes.

● Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist have been added to the cast of Fox’s Glee. Geyer,  who appeared on the Australian show Neighbours and competed on Australian Idol, will play Brody Weston, an upperclassmen at NYADA who befriends Lea Michele’s character Rachel. Artist, who starred in Lifetime’s Blue Lagoon: The Awakening, will play Puck’s (Mark Salling) younger brother, who tries out for New Directions.  The fourth season of Glee premieres Thursday, September 13^th. 

MISCELLANEOUS MOVIE NEWS!

● Mike Epps is returning to The Hangover franchise. The comedian appeared in the first Hangover flick, playing the drug dealer Black Doug. According to Variety, Epps has signed on for the third installment, which is rumored to be filming in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

● After weeks of rumors, Jenna Malone has officially been cast as  Johanna Mason in the second Hunger Games film Catching Fire. Mason is a former Games winner from District 7, who aligns herself with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) during the Quarter Quell, the all-star edition of the Hunger Games.
