Demi Moore 911 call: 'She is convulsing'

The chilling 911 call made in the minutes before Demi Moore was rushed to a hospital has been released.

In the call, you can hear a frantic, unidentified woman asking for an ambulance because Demi is convulsing. “She smoked something, it’s not marijuana, but it is similar to incense,” the woman says.

The phone is handed off and the next person, also a woman, tells the 911 dispatcher Demi is in a “semi-concious” state. When asked by the dispatcher what Demi took before the incident the caller says, “Some form of an energy smoke something. I didn’t really see. She has been having some issues lately with some other stuff, but I don’t know what she has been taking or not.”

When asked if Demi has done something like this before, the woman on the phone says, “I don’t know. There has been some stuff recently that we are all just finding out."

HLN confirmed with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office that portions of the 911 call were edited out before it was made public in accordance with federal privacy laws.

In statement released to HLN after Demi was taken to the hospital, her reps said, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.”

As Demi Moore hides out following her recent hospitalization, the actress' closest pals are rallying around her to offer messages of love and support. 

Moore was M.I.A. at the 64th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards in Hollywood Saturday, despite being nominated alongside Jennifer Aniston, 42, AliciaKeys, 31, Patty Jenkins, 40, and PenelopeSpheeris, 66, for co-directing Lifetime's Five.

"It would have been nice [to have Demi here], but given circumstances, life goes on and first things first," Spheeris told Us Weekly. "And we all wish Demi the best and I hope we all get together soon."

Jenkins echoed Spheeris' sentiments, saying: "It's terribly sad that she's not here, but she'll be great in two seconds."

While the newly single star recovers, Jenkins told Us the Margin Call actress is "one of my favorite people in the world" and "one of the greatest girls I've met in Los Angeles."

An insider previously confirmed to Us that Moore, 49, suffered a seizure on Monday, prompting her chilling 911 call. (TMZ claims that Moore was doing "whip-its," inhaling nitrous oxide, to get high.)

"She has spiraled," a source explained to Us, "and gotten to a place where she is struggling too much to function."

"It's our society," Octavia Spencer told me backstage at tonight's SAG Awards, right after her big Best Supporting Actress win for The Help. I had just asked what the foodie actress thought of stick-thin Hollywood actresses.

Octavia was hardly done:

"It's a society that tells you you're no longer valuable at a certain age," commanded the actress, who played a maid famous for her fried chicken and chocolate pie. "Or because of your weight."

Nevertheless, Spencer went on to say that she wasn't proud of her own weight—that she could lose a "little 'round the middle"—but that she still "feels" for women who starve themselves in Hollywood and wishes they wouldn't.

"Women would be much happier if they ate. I know I sure get a headache when I don' t eat!"

"But, you know what, Ted?" Octavia, glittering in gray satin and sequins, said picking up her heavy SAG trophy. "I'm just gonna lift this baby a few times to lose that little bit of weight I need to!"

Man adds JFK's hearse to his 400-car collection

A car collector is adding another item to his impressive 400-auto arsenal: JFK’s hearse.

Colorado real estate developer Stephen Tebo bought the 1964 white Cadillac Miller-Meteor for $176,000, according to HLN affiliate KCNC.

Tebo told the station he’s honored to own the car that carried President John F. Kennedy’s body after he was assassinated. He says he remembers seeing the images of the hearse on TV, carrying the president’s casket -- as well as First Lady Jackie Kennedy -- from the hospital to Air Force One in Dallas.

“To be able to own this as a piece of history like that is very amazing for me,” Tebo said.

The Cadillac joins Tebo’s already massive car collection, which includes numerous other classic Cadillacs, as well as several famous vehicles you may have seen in movies and TV series. According to HLN affiliateKMGH, the hearse will be displayed in Tebo’s showroom, which he hopes to make into a museum one day.

Mel 'Scary' Brown lets news of reunion performance slip during interview

The biggest girl group of the '90s is making a comeback!

Spice Girls singer Melanie Brown revealed the band will be reuniting this summer during a recent interview on Australian TV — but contrary to reports, it won't be for the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.

"I think the Queen's Jubilee concert is the event I'd be looking at more closely for that to happen," the 36-year-old said. Realizing she revealed too much, the singer quickly changed the subject.

According to The Sun, Brown told TV crew members backstage: "I am going to be in such strife for saying that. It's all so totally bloody top-secret still."

The "Scary" musician and her bandmates — Victoria "Posh" Beckham, 37, Geri "Ginger" Halliwell, 39, Emma "Baby" Bunton, 36, and Melanie "Sporty" Chisholm, 38 — last performed together during a reunion tour that kicked off in 2007.

"I'm always down for a Spice Girls reunion," Brown said. "I love the Scary hair and platforms. Any time of day or night I'll be there."

To mark 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II's reign, the Diamond Jubilee will take place on June 4, 2012. The group will perform in front of the royal family, including Prince William, 29, and Kate Middleton, 30.
