Katy Perry Explains Concert Kiss: That's What I Do!

We're not sure who was accusing Katy Perry of playing it fast and loose in Indonesia, but apparently enough tongues wagged for the singer to feel the need to remind people who she is.

She's the pop superstar who shoots icing out of her bra, darn it! And with great power comes great responsibility.

"Btw, I have *kissed* 1 boy, picked randomly out of the audience, on the cheek as a part of my show for all 125 tour dates. Simmer down now," Perry tweeted last night.

OK, fair enough.  But, to be even more fair, her Jakarta show last Thursday night was her first since Russell Brand filed to divorce her—so, whatever came before, obviously people were going to be paying extra-close attention to her performance.

Aretha Franklin calls off her wedding

NEW YORK (AP) — Aretha Franklin won't be getting fitted for a wedding gown after all: She's called off her engagement.

A statement released Monday by her representative said Franklin's wedding to Willie Wilkerson wasn't going to happen.

"Will and I have decided we were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly. There will be no wedding at this time," Franklin said. "We will not comment on it any further because of the very personal and sensitive nature of it.  We appreciate all of the many well wishes from friends."

Franklin, 69, announced shortly after New Year's Day that she was getting married. In an interview with The Associated Press, the jovial Queen of Soul talked about getting fitted for gowns by designers including Vera Wang and Donna Karan, and said she hoped for a summer wedding in either Miami or the Hamptons on Long Island, N.Y.

Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Divorce on Live With Kelly!

For Kim Kardashian, things have obviously been a little tough recently.

"It's been a hard couple of months," the E! reality star told Kelly Ripa while cohosting Live With Kelly this morning, when the subject of her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries came up at the beginning of the show.

Kim revealed that when the union ended, she packed up nothing more than "two pairs of sweatpants and a pair of pajamas" and moved in with her mom, Kris Jenner, to do "some soul searching" and admitted she was shocked that the public thought the marriage was nothing but a cash-grabbing opportunity.

"If you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV, I'm a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer," said Kim. "I really didn't think following my heart would create this much backlash."

In other words, the self-proclaimed "hopeless romantic" considers the unfortunate experience as just one of life's little lessons.

"I think I just learned that I need to rewrite my fairytale," Kim said.
