Cincinnati neuropsychologist Dean Beebe recently studied 249 kids and found children, who snore loudly at least twice a week are more likely to misbehave than those, who don't snore. He says, ''A lot of kids snore every so often, and cartoons make snoring look cute or funny. But loud snoring that lasts for months is not normal, and anything that puts young kids at that much risk for behavioral problems is neither cute nor funny. Children who snored loudly at least twice a week at the age of two and three had most behaviour problems, including hyperactivity, inattention and depression. The risk of hyperactivity and inattention increases in young children who are persistent and loud snorers at an early age. The strongest predictors of persistent snoring were lower socioeconomic status and the absence or shorter duration of breastfeeding.''

A new survey by Coupons.com reveals that 55% of moms get stressed by the idea of shopping for and packing school lunches. Other findings:

PATTINSON JOKES ABOUT CHEATING SCANDAL DURING DAILY SHOW APPEARANCE!

As expected, Robert Pattinson didn’t say much about his cheating ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart during his appearance last night on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. After offering his guest some soothing Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, Jon simply asked “How are you doing?,” to which Pattinson replied, “I intend not to say anything.”  Kristen’s name was not mentioned during the segment, but at one point Jon joked, “The world has ended,” and Pattinson agreed, “it has.” He then added, “that was my attempt at a joke.” Jon then responded, “You're better off. Kick her to the curb!” In the end, Jon told his guest, “I wish you the best, these things happen when you’re young.” Meanwhile,  Pattinson will sit down for a 30 minute live interview Thursday, which will stream on MTV.com. This is the longest interview Pattinson has granted to promote his upcoming movie Cosmopolis. He is not expected to talk about his cheating girlfriend Kristen Stewart. The Twilight star will also appear on Good Morning America tomorrow.

NBC TRASHED FOR CUTTING CLOSING CEREMONY COVERAGE!

NBC was continually criticized for their Olympic coverage, and that didn’t end with Sunday’s Closing Ceremony. The public was up in arms after the network decided to cut performances by The Kinks’Ray Davies, Muse, Kate Bush and George Michael in the interest of time. In addition, they delayed The Who’s performance in order to air a commercial-free preview of their new show Animal Practice.  Many people took to Twitter to voice their beef, including Glee’sKevin McHale who wrote, “DEAR NBC. Interrupting the Olympic closing ceremony for an hr to air a show about a fictional animal dr. before it ends is a disgrace. Shame on you." Meanwhile, Danny Boyle has announced that he is planning to release a feature-length version of the London Olympic Opening Ceremony on DVD. No release date was given.

MILEY CHOPS OFF HAIR/LANDS TWO AND A HALF MEN GIG!

Miley Cyrus debuted a radical new look on Twitter over the weekend. First Miley posted a picture of herself with a scissor next to her bun, which was piled on top of her head.   Fans weren’t too thrilled about her decision to cut her long hair, but she responded by tweeting, “if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head no one else’s and it’s going bye bye.”  She then posted a picture of her new cut, an edgy, blonde shaved ‘do. Happy with the result, Miley added, “Never felt more me in my whole life.” Meanwhile, Miley has just landed a guest appearance on CBS’s Two and a Half Men. She’ll appear in several episodes, playing a romantic interest for Angus T. Jones’ character Jake Harper.

CHANGES IN STORE FOR THE VOICE!

NBC is shaking things up on The Voice. According to Executive Producer Mark Burnett, there will be some new twists added this season. One will allow coaches to “steal” contestants from each other during “battle rounds.”  There will also be something new called a “knockout round” which will cut the number of contestants on each coach’s team. The third season of The Voice premieres Monday, September 10^th.

DID ZACH GALIFIANAKIS GET MARRIED?

People magazine reports that Zach Galifianakis married fiancée Quinn Lundberg in Vancouver, Canada this weekend. According to Vancitybuzz.com, paparazzi were staking out all the Greek Orthodox churches in the area, hoping to get a picture of the couple but had no luck. The site claims that the pair married “somewhere in the Furry Creek/Squamish area,” which is a resort location. So far there has been no confirmation from the couple.

FORMER COSMO EDITOR HELEN GURLEY BROWN DIES

Helen Gurley Brown, the well-known former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine, died in New York Monday at the age of 90.  A cause of death was not listed. Brown, who wrote the book Sex and the Single Girl in 1962, joined the magazine as editor in 1965 and stayed with it until 1997.  “Helen Gurley Brown was an icon. Her formula for honest and straightforward advice about relationships, career and beauty revolutionized the magazine industry,” said Hearst (the magazine's publisher)  CEO Frank Bennack, Jr. in a statement.  “She lived every day of her life to the fullest and will always be remembered as the quintessential ‘Cosmo girl.’ She will be greatly missed.”

VH1 PULLS OCHOCINCO’S REALITY SHOW!

In the wake of Chad Johnson’s (Ochocinco) weekend arrest for domestic violence, VH1 has pulled his upcoming reality show. Ev and Ocho, which followed Johnson and now wife Evelyn Lozado as they prepared for their July wedding, was scheduled to debut September 3^RD.  "Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series 'Ev and Ocho' from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it,” said the network in a statement.  On Saturday, Johnson was arrested for allegedly head-butting Evelyn after a fight about a condom receipt. TMZ got a hold of the 911 call made by the couple's neighbor, who said Evelyn had a cut on her head and would probably need stitches. The neighbor also warned that Evelyn's husband was "a very high-profile person and we'd like to keep this as quiet as possible."

There have been conflicting reports as to the future of Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders’ marriage to Liberty Ross, but the latest seems to suggest it’s definitely over. According to The People, Ross plans to divorce Sanders for cheating on her with Kristen Stewart. She has already hired a celebrity lawyer and plans to move back to London as soon as possible with the couple’s two kids.  “She has no strong ties in the U.S. nor does she want to remain there,” says a source. “She has made it clear she wants to move back to the UK with her children.”
