Jennifer Aniston is no longer unlucky in love. According to People, the former Friends star has gotten engaged to boyfriend Justin Theroux. “Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage,” his rep told the site. The couple began dating in the spring of last year, after working together on the film Wanderlust. This, of course, will be the second marriage for Aniston. She was previously married to Brad Pitt, who left her for his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. This will be the first marriage for Theroux.

CHAD JOHNSON (AKA OCHOCINCO) ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Football/realty show star Chad Johnson, formerly known as Chad Ochocinco, was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly head-butting his wife, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozado. According to cops, the incident occurred while the couple was arguing, and Lozado suffered lacerations to forehead. TMZ reports the argument started when Lozado confronted her husband about a receipt for condoms she found in their car.  Johnson claims the head-butting was an accident, but Lozado was said to be so afraid of her husband that she ran to a neighbor’s house for safety.  The neighbor is the one who called the cops.  Johnson spent the night in jail, and was released Sunday morning after posting $2,500 bond.  Johnson and Lozado were married just last month.

This isn’t much of a shock – Beyonce and Jay-Z have topped Forbes’ list of the Highest Paid Celebrity Couples.  According to the mag, the superstar pair, who became parents to daughter Blue Ivy in January, earned a whopping $78 million combined between May, 2011 and May, 2012. Looks like all that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedding speculation was just that, speculation. On Friday, the Internet was abuzz over rumors the couple would tie the knot Saturday on the grounds of their French chateau. The rumors started after locals claimed to have spotted deliveries of food and champagne, as well as a tent being built on the property. In addition, Brad’s parents were also spotted arriving at the home. But, so far, there’s been no word any wedding.

PHELPS SIGNS ON FOR GOLF REALITY SHOW!

Michael Phelps was serious when he said he wanted to work on his golf game during his retirement. Over the weekend it was announced that the18-time Olympic gold medalist will appear on the Golf Channel show The Haney Project, in which he’ll learn the game from Hank Haney, one of Tiger Woods’ former coaches.  “I have traveled the world through swimming, but really haven’t had an opportunity to experience the world through my travels,” said Phelps in a statement. “As I enter this next chapter of my life, I think I will be able to shift my competitiveness to anything I put my mind to and golf is one of the things I want to focus on.” Phelps’ episodes of The Haney Project will begin airing in February.

SIMPSON DAD BUSTED FOR DUI!

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson’s father Joe was arrested in Los Angeles Thursday night on suspicion of DUI.  TMZ reports that LAPD pulled over the 54-year-old on Ventura Blvd at around 10 pm, and felt that he was intoxicated so they took him in. Joe spent the night in jail and was released Friday morning without posting bail.

LAWSUIT AGAINST DEPP DISMISSED!

A lawsuit filed against Johnny Depp was dismissed in LA last week.   Back in April, a woman named Robin Eckert sued the actor claiming his bodyguards assaulted her at an Iggy Pop concert last year.  She claimed the guards dragged her on the ground causing her pants to come off, exposing her butt. Robin had filed the lawsuit anonymously using the name “Jane Doe,” which is why the case got thrown out. A judge ruled that she had no justification for filing anonymously. The judge did add that she could re-file the case but only if she uses her legal name.

Jada Pinkett Smith has heard the rumors, but they’re still not true – she and husband Will Smith are not splitting up. ● Ving Rhames will guest star on an upcoming episode of CBS’s Hawaii Five-O.  He’ll play a man from Danny’s (Scott Caan) past, in an episode that flashes back to Danny’s time as a cop in New Jersey. The season premiere of Hawaii Five-O airs Monday, September 24^th at 10 pm.

MISCELLANEOUS MOVIE NEWS!

● Steve Carell and Will Ferrell will star in the comedy Swear to God, which will be directed by Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Justin Theroux, who also wrote the script.  The film stars Ferrell as a self-involved money manager who believes he has seen God. There’s no word on what role Carell will play.

● Heather Graham has signed on for The HangoverIII. The actress will reprise her role of stripper Jade, who married Ed Helms in the first film, but did not return for the second.  Details regarding The Hangover III’s plot have not been revealed. The film is due in theaters May 24^th, 2013.
