JOHN TRAVOLTA DENIES HE SEXUALLY ASSAULTED CRUISE SHIP WORKER!

John Travolta has denied in court papers that he ever sexually assaulted a cruise ship worker. Fabian Zanzi sued the Pulp Fiction star earlier this year claiming Travolta exposed himself while Zanzi was giving him a neck massage on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship back in 2009. He added that Travolta tried to pay him $12,000 to keep the incident quiet. In court docs filed Friday, Travolta admits to being on the cruise, but denies all of Zanzi’s allegations.  Travolta is asking for the case to be dismissed, and wants Zanzi to pay his attorney’s fees.

Amanda Bynes’ bad driving record continues. TMZ reports that a Los Angeles woman filed a police report Saturday claiming the What I Like About You star rear-ended her on Ventura Blvd.  The woman, identified only as Kisa, said her Corolla was struck by a woman in a black BMW, but she didn’t recognize the actress at first because she “looked like a hot mess.” Kisa went to get her insurance card to exchange information,  but a “nervous” Bynes insisted they didn’t need to do so because neither car was damaged that badly. Kisa claims both cars were pretty banged up and was getting out her insurance info when Bynes got into her car and took off.  Already this year Bynes was arrested on suspicion of DUI  in April and accused of two other hit and run incidents in May.

Former reality show dad Jon Gosselin recently cried poverty, telling Star magazine he lost his job and couldn’t pay rent because of all the child support he had to pay to ex-wife Kate. Well, Kate’s lawyer finds Jon’s claims shocking, especially since he doesn’t pay child support at all. Lawyer Cheryl Young told Radaronline she was “surprised to read that (Jon) claims to be struggling to keep his child support payments current,” because, “as of April, 27, 2012, Kate voluntarily relieved Jon of all current and future child support obligations for their eight children.” Jon told the tabloid he was worried he was going to lose his home and custody of the kids because of his financial problems. Said Jon, “I’m doing the best I can, but life is so expensive with eight kids.”

Jimmy Fallon was reportedly in the running to host next year’s Oscars. According to the Los Angeles Times, outgoing Academy of Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak had approached Fallon about hosting, with Saturday Night Live’s Lorne Michaels acting as producer, but a deal couldn’t be reached before Sherak’s term as president ended last week. According to reports, ABC wasn’t too keen on the idea of Fallon as host, especially since he’s direct competition for Jimmy Kimmel’s late night series. But Variety claims the network doesn’t have a say in who hosts the telecast.

George Clooney is giving up one of his cars for a good cause. The Oscar winner is auctioning off his 2008 Tesla Roadster with proceeds going to the Satellite Sentinel Project, a non-profit group he co-founded to monitor the borders of Sudan via satellite.  The electric-powered two-seater, a limited edition obsidian black metallic sports car with two-tone leather interior, is expected to go for between $100,000 and $125,000.

Teen bride Courtney Stodden revealed last week that she was off to shoot a reality show, and TMZ has discovered just what show that is. According to the site, 17-year-old Courtney and her 51-year-old husband Doug Hutchison have signed on for the upcoming season of VH1’s Couples Therapy. Sources say the pair, who wed in June of last year, admits there are “obvious problems in their relationship because of their age difference and the notoriety they’ve gotten because of their relationship.”

BACHELORETTE KASEY KAHL!

Former Bachelorette contestant Kasey Kahl was taken into custody Friday in connection with an incident at a nightclub earlier this year. According to TMZ, back in January, Kahl allegedly attacked a man named Richard Cheney and his girlfriend outside a club in Fresno, CA. Kahl was allegedly drunk and under the influence of paint thinners at the time. While Kahl has claimed his innocence, and suggested the “victims” were antagonizing him to get their “15 minutes of fame,” prosecutors have now decided there is enough evidence to charge the reality show star. He has officially been charged with two counts of felony assault, one count of battery with serious bodily injury and  one count of public intoxication. Kahl was released from jail Friday morning, and denied he was under the influence of paint thinners at the time of the bar fight. He added, “I’ve never even smoked marijuana.”

O’DONNELL FIANCÉE DIAGNOSED WITH TUMORS/COUPLE POSTPONES WEDDING!

Rosie O’Donnell announced on her blog Friday that her fiancée has been diagnosed with desmoid tumors, an extremely rare, cancer-like disease.  O’Donnell, whose OWN talk show was cancelled in March, explained that fiancée Michelle Rounds was feeling pain on Mother’s Day and after a “maze of medical mystery,” finally got her diagnosis. Rosie says the tumors are “odd and curious beasts strong and sneaky a non-cancer that acts cancerous.” Rounds had surgery in June but is still recovering, which has forced them to postpone their wedding until next summer. In lieu of gifts, they ask for donations to be made to the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation. Added Rosie, “Good thoughts wishes prayers all welcomed.”

CBS STILL SUING OVER GLASS HOUSE!

CBS is not giving up their fight against ABC’s The Glass House. The network is moving ahead with their lawsuit, which claims ABC copied elements of Big Brother for the show. Now that Glass House has finally aired, CBS’s lawyers have added several more objections to the suit, arguing that the ABC show, “employs the same plot, themes, mood, setting, pace, characters, dialogue, sequence of events and other concrete elements making up Big Brother.” Among the new arguments, CBS says both shows feature an “obligatory older” and “openly gay” player,  as well as “showmances.” (That just described every reality show out there.) CBS initially tried to stop ABC from airing Glass House but was shot down. The eighth episode of the series airs tonight.
