WARRANT ISSUED FOR CUBA GOODING, JR.’S ARREST!

Cops in New Orleans have reportedly issued an arrest warrant for Cuba Gooding, Jr., after he was accused of shoving a female bartender at The Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street around 2:00 AM. The Jerry Maguire star reportedly got upset with patrons who had been taking his picture, and began cursing, prompting a female bartender to ask him to leave. That’s when he shoved the bartender against a wall. Her co-worker dialed 911 and when Cuba was told cops were on their way, he pushed the bartender again and left. He is now wanted for misdemeanor battery.

ADRIENNE MALOOF TO FIGHT FOR CUSTODY OF KIDS!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’Adrienne Maloof and her husband Dr. Paul Nassif announced their separation Monday, and now comes the question of who’ll get the kids. According to Radaronline, Adrienne plans to fight for full legal and physical custody of their three sons Gavin, Colin and Christian. “She says she is the parent who is with the kids the most and she will do everything she can to keep them,” claims an insider. “She believes this is what’s best for them.” One thing Adrienne isn’t worried about is a fight over money. Prosecutors in New York agreed to dismiss the case if the now 21-year-old completes two days of community service and stays out of trouble for six months.

DENNIS HOPPER’S SON ACCUSED OF RAPING 15-YEAR-OLD!

TMZ reports that Dennis Hopper’s 21-year-old son Henry has been accused of plying a 15-year-old girl with drugs and alcohol and then raping her. Henry, who appeared in the Gus Van Zant movie Restless, is being sued by the mother of the unidentified girl, who allegedly met Henry through a friend in February 2011. According to the suit, the girl, identified as Jane Doe, began to communicate with Henry through Facebook, and he invited her to his California home on several occasions with the promise of drugs and alcohol. Henry allegedly would wait until the girl was drunk and then “engaged in sexually offensive conduct with her,” including sexual intercourse, sodomy and forced oral copulation.  The suit is seeking unspecified damages. There’s no word on whether the 15-year-old ever reported the allegations to police.

The nominees for the 2012MTV Video Music Awardswere announced yesterday with Rihanna and Drake leading the pack with five nods a piece. MODERN FAMILY GETS NEW DOG!

Amidst all the salary disputes on Modern Family there has been a casting change that is sure to go unnoticed. According to TMZ, producers have quietly recast the pooch that plays Jay Prichett’s dog Stella. The French Bulldog, whose real name is Brigitte, was hired through the animal acting agency Good Dog Animals, but the agency recently stopped working with the pooch, so Brigitte has now been replaced by a new dog named Beatrice.

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS AUTHOR MAEVE BINCHY DIES

Irish author Maeve Binchy, whose work includes Circle of Friends, Tara Road and The Lilac Bus, died Monday at the age of 72 after a short illness. Binchy has written 16 novels, and her books have sold more than 40 million copies and have been translated into 37 languages. Circle of Friends was turned into a movie back in 1995, starring Minnie Driver and Chris O’Donnell.  Tara Road was chosen by Oprah Winfrey for her book club in September 1999. Her latest novel, A Week in Winter, is due out later this year.

TRANSGENDERED MATRIX DIRECTOR MAKES RARE ON-CAMERA APPEARANCE!

Matrix director Larry Wachowski has been transitioning to a woman for nearly a decade, and earlier this week the producer/director, who now goes by Lana, made a rare on-camera appearance to promote her newest film Cloud Atlas. Lana(wearing pink dreadlocks and a grey dress), her brother Andy and the film’s director Tom Tykwer, are featured in a video released by Warner Bros. and posted on the movie’s iTunes Trailer page. ● CBS is reportedly developing a Brady Bunch reboot, from executive producer Vince Vaughn.  The new version would revolve around Bobby Brady, Mike Brady’s youngest son, a divorced dad with kids who remarries and starts a new family. Unlike the original, which never mentioned Carol or Mike Brady’s other spouses, the new version will feature Bobby and his wife’s exes, their kids from previous marriages, as well as the pair’s shared child.
