Can't Win If You Don't Play: Americans spent $1.5 billion trying to win Friday's $640 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot. The $1.5 billion wager could feed 238,000 households for a year. The wager could also fill the gas tanks of 685,000 households for a year. The wager is enough to buy 2.4 million iPads at $499 a piece. The $1.5 billion wagered could purchase 7,300 tourist tickets for a ride into space aboard Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo. It costs a quarter to vote for an American Idol contestant. Last year, 122 million votes were needed to win the show. The wager could control the outcome of the next 47 seasons.

Thousands of Mega Millions players played 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. Those were the numbers Hurley used to win the Mega Lotto Jackpot on Lost.

Each bottle costs $69. Some think the cologne is in poor taste.
