Kiefer Sutherland is heading back to Fox.  His pilot, "Touch" will debut on the
network in the spring of 2012. "Touch" stars Sutherland as a widower and single
father, Martin, who can't connect with his mute son, Jake.  He discovers that
his son has the "ability to see things that no one else can and the patterns
that connect seemingly unrelated events." Instead of communicating verbally,
Jake uses number so Martin works with a professor (Danny Glover) to "decipher
their meaning."

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson is now the target of a massive
drug investigation after police confiscated 8.5 pounds of marijuana from his
home in Kentucky. According to reports, cops searched Simpson's home after
intercepting a package that was shipped to him containing 2.5 pounds of weed and
then found another 6 pounds of weed, packaging materials, scales, and smoking
devices. A rep for the National Marijuana Initiative believes the house was set
up as a "potential distribution network." Bengals tackle Anthony Collins was
present when police raided the home and is being investigated as well..

Actor Billy Zane is joining the cast of NBC's The Playboy Club. Billy will play
the recurring role of Oscar Bianchi beginning in the sexy series' sixth episode.  
Oscar is described as the cool-headed but ruthless younger brother of Chicago
Mafia boss Bruno Bianchi, who was murdered in the first episode during an
altercation with Bunny Maureen.

Jimmy Fallon will pay a weeklong tribute to Pink Floyd. The Shins, Foo Fighters,
Pearl Jam, MGMT and Dierks Bentley will each perform a classic Pink Floyd song
on "Late Night" this week.

The season premiere of "60 Minutes" features a profile of "South Park" creators,
Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Correspondent Steve Kroft talks to them about their
Emmy winning series as it begins its 15th season on October 5th on Comedy
Central. Kroft will also go backstage of the Eugene O'Neill Theater to talk to
the actors of Parker and Stone's play, "The Book of Mormon."

Lifetime has canceled the show "Roseanne's Nuts" after just one season due to
low ratings. The show followed Roseanne Barr's life as a macadamia nut farmer in
Hawaii, along with boyfriend John Argent and her son Jake.

Michael Jackson's eldest son, Prince Michael, will be in Berlin November 10th
for an auction to support a cause to help disadvantaged kids. The 14-year-old
will be there for the sale of his dad's handwritten composition of the hit
"Bad." All proceeds from the auction will go to the Tribute to Bambi foundation.
Interestingly, It was in Berlin, attending the same annual event in 2002 when
Michael memorably dangled baby Blanket over the balcony before screaming fans.

Halle Berry broke her foot on Wednesday while walking in Mallorca, Spain on a
day off.  The actress emerged from a Spanish hospital in a wheelchair, her right
leg in a cast up to her knee. Production has adjusted their schedule and will
continue filming.
