It's more drama from Tareq and Michaele Salahi ...you'll remember them as the
couple who crashed a White House dinner. Tareq called police several times
Tuesday night and told them that his wife had been kidnapped because she is
missing and all of her things still remain in the house. However, Michaele was
NOT kidnapped, she merely ran off with Journey lead guitarist, Neal Schon. She
called police and told them that she did not want her husband to know where she
was. But it doesn't take any brain surgeon to figure out where she is when you
know that Journey is opening for Foreigner in Memphis. Police say Michaele
expressed she was "very sorry" that the Sheriff’s Office had to be involved, but
"she did not want to be home right now." Tareq, however, still isn't convinced
and gave a tear-filled interview to NBC, insisting, "this is not a joke."
TMZ is reporting that singer, Chaka Khan has won temporary custody of her
10-year-old granddaughter because the child's parents are drug addicts. Chaka
filed a petition for appointment of guardianship last week saying she has
already assumed the day-to-day role of the child's parent providing physical and
psychological needs for care and affection. Chaka claims the child's mother, who
lives in the same house, is incapable of caring for her daughter because of a
"heavy involvement in drugs." The report states that Chaka's son "also uses and
abuses drugs and other illegal substances." She was awarded temporary custody
with a hearing set for October to make it permanent.
After a year back together, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez have called it quits
as a couple again. According to the New York Post, the couple first started
dating in 2010 but they were both very committed to their own careers and the
relationship just couldn't survive.
According to a Los Angeles judge, Indiana Pacers owner, Herb Simon and his wife
were totally right to fire two of their employees. Simon just scored a huge
victory over his former nanny and his former driver -- who both accused the NBA
owner and his wife of treating them in a demeaning manner and cheating them out
of wages. Wednesday, the court found the Simons were not only correct in
firing the two employees, but also called them the most generous bosses ever.
Reportedly they showered their former nanny with gifts like diamonds, iPods,
Prada sandals, cash and a Mercedes. The accusations against the Simons included
the nanny claiming the couple tried to embarrass her when they hosted a dinner
at a fancy restaurant and failed to propose a toast to her pregnancy. As for the
driver, the judge noted that he constantly fell asleep in court and was not
believable as a witness. The judge said the driver was treated to a number of
lavish of gifts as well as a $7,500 bonus so he could buy a new car.

Handwritten love letters from Hollywood legend James Dean to his then girlfriend

for two years. The three letters written in 1954 are expected to fetch up to
$25,000. Dean was killed in a car accident in 1955 at age 24. The auction is
scheduled for November 23rd.
Jessica is originally from Marietta, GA! I am probably one of the only real "Atlantans" left! I love Atlanta because there is always something going on, and it's just close enough to the beach to get away for a weekend.
