Still upset with ESPN for kicking him off Monday Night Football, Hank Williams
Jr. has decided to serenade the sports channel with a new song. Williams
opening was taken off the air after comments made on Fox and Friends last week
equating Obama's so-called "Golf Summit" with John Boehner was "like Hitler
playing golf with [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu." He begins his "I'm not
sorry at all" tour today when he returns Fox News for an appearance on the Sean
Hannity show. The song is now available for free for 48 hours at Williams'
website. There also are new "Hank Jr. for President" T-shirts for sale.
Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z are expecting their baby to arrive in February, 2012.
The singer announced the birth date while making an appearance on Australia’s
"Sunday Night," show. Beyonce says that she and Jay-Z have been together for
ten years and feels it's the right time to be expecting a child because she's
already accomplished a lot of things for herself and knows who she is.
94-year-old actress Zsa Zsa Gabor is in critical condition after having
emergency surgery to replace a feeding tube in her stomach,. Doctors at the UCLA
Ronald Reagan Medical Center are "guardedly optimistic" that she'll recover.
Gabor's husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, told the Los Angeles Times that the
surgery was a success and that he expects his wife to be released by mid-week.
A copy of Steve Jobs' death certificate was made public Monday. The reason of
death for the Apple. co-founder was respiratory arrest resulting from pancreatic
cancer that had spread to other organs. Jobs died last Wednesday at age 56. He
died at his home in Palo Alto. No autopsy was performed, and he was buried on
Friday.
Discovery has ordered a documentary on the life of the late Steve Jobs, with
Mythbusters team of Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman hosting the show. The special
has already lined up interviews with several key names to talk about the Apple
co-founder and CEO, including: Daniel Kottke, who traveled to India with Jobs
and who later become an early Apple employee, and John Draper, an engineer who
gave Jobs his start. Musicians Stevie Wonder and Pete Wentz will talk about how
Jobs’ innovations impacted their careers. The documentary premieres Sunday,
October 16th
While the UK's Daily Mail is reporting that Demi Moore visited a divorce lawyer
over the weekend, others spied the actress and hubby Ashton Kutcher trying to
catch some quiet time camping at Lake Cachuma. The two are seen in one picture
sitting around a campfire, but they aren't alone. With them, according to a
source, were Kutcher's brother, Michael, and celebrity florist Eric Buterbaugh,
a close friend of the couple who did the flowers at their wedding.
Fonzi's motorcycle from "Happy Days" is hitting the auction block next month.
The 1949 Triumph Trophy TR5 has not been ridden since the show ended in 1984.
Auctioneers expect the bike to fetch in the $90,000 range and it doesn't even
run! Plus, the speedometer is broken. The auction takes place on November 12th
in LA.
American Idol's Randy Jackson has a new show that's being picked up by VH1.
It's called "Aptitude Test". Each week a high profile celeb gets a chance to
see what might have happened if they never had their big break in the
entertainment business. They must take the high school aptitude test to
determine which field they would be the best in, then don a disguise and get on
the job training. Lots can happen as the celebs try to manage a day job and
some sappy stuff when they reveal themselves to the people training them.
CBS' sitcom "How To Be A Gentleman" has become the latest new show to bite the
dust. The sitcom, which starred David Hornsby and Kevin Dillon, has stopped
production, but the episodes already in the can will air on Saturday nights at
8:30pm. "Rules of Engagement", will now have its sixth-season premiere on
October 20th in the Thursday at 8:30 slot.
Don't miss a new one-hour special devoted to Prince William's new wife,
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and her sister, Pippa Middleton. The "E! True
Hollywood Story: Kate & Pippa" will tell the tale of the commoner sisters who
were launched into the international spotlight after Kate fell in love with a
royal, says a statement from the network. "THS: Kate & Pippa" airs October 12 at
10pm.
FYI: Nancy Shevell, now Mrs. Paul McCartney, is the neice of newswoman, Barbara
Walters...(according to the ladies on "The View")
Here's a pisser for you...after picking up a full season of "New Girl", Fox has
redone their scheduling and won't be putting the show back on the air again
until November 1st. Bumping it off the air are expanded installments of "The X
Factor" and the MLB playoffs/World Series coverage.
