Rod Stewart is writing his memoirs and he wants everyone to know he's had lots
of sex.   "Forget skeletons in the closet," says the singer, "this one's going
to be socks and knickers under the bed." Stewart's history with women is as long
as his discography. Stewart dated Swedish actress Brit Ekland, model Bebe Buell
and model Alana Hamilton, his eventual wife. After divorcing from Hamilton,
Stewart married supermodel Rachel Hunter, then divorced, then married model
Penny Lancaster. In 2000, Stewart underwent surgery after being diagnosed with
thyroid cancer. Since then, he has been an activist and a fundraiser for cancer
charities. The untitled work will be published by Random House and is scheduled
for an October 2012 release.

Tony Parker won't be sitting on the sidelines during the NBA lockout.  Eva
Longoria's ex is heading back to his native land to play for a French team and
getting paid only $1,995 per month. Parker also happens to be vice-president of
ASVEL, a team based in Villeurbanne. According to ESPN, he plans to play his
first game for ASVEL on Oct. 14 against Paris.

LeAnn Rimes' husband, Eddie Cibran, not only found out Tuesday that his show,
"The Playboy Club" got cancelled, but he also injured himself on set. Cibrian
sustained a deep cut on his right heel after his foot was caught in a steel door
on set in Chicago.  He was taken to the hospital for treatment. It's been a
rough week for Cibrian all around. On Monday, a suspected drunk driver crashed
into the Los Angeles house he shares with wife LeAnn Rimes and his children. No
one was injured.

CBS’ sitcom 2 Broke Girls has received a full-season order.

Denise Richards tweets she's going to be doing an episode of "30 Rock"  No other
details yet.

James Marsden is joining "30 Rock" and may be a romantic interest for Tina Fey's
Liz Lemon. While the network hasn't announced its plans for the actor, last
month, the comedy put out a casting call for a man ages 36-40 who can play Tina
Fey’s latest love interest.

MTV is looking to break a Guinness World Record by holding the longest dance
party...with a goal of hitting 55 hours. The event will be a featured part of
MTV’s O Music Awards, and promote awareness for issues surrounding LGBT youths.
Both the awards show and the dance party will be held in Los Angeles, starting
Oct. 29 and running until Halloween. The event will also be streamed live on
MTV's website.

Cher, who's expected to be seen next week in the audience of "Dancing With The
Stars" supporting son, Chaz Bono, says she wasn't referring to the Kardashians
when she wrote the following tweet: "I don't watch reality ! Never saw a
Kardashian but these Bitches should b Drop kicked down a freeway !Not kidding!"
Cher has now clarified her statements tweeting that instead she was "talking
about Bridezillas & Not The KARDASHIAN Girls."

In Glee news, Coach Beiste is going to be getting some attention of the male
kind. The show’s producers have cast Eric Bruskotter in what’s being described
as a major recurring role of Johnny, a football recruiter who comes scouting for
talent at McKinley, but finds he can’t take his eyes off the team’s gruff but
big-hearted coach.

After announcing her split from Bachelor fiance Brad Womack in June, Emily
Maynard has moved on to a new man: Carolina Panthers tight end Jeremy Shockey! A
mutual friend on the Panthers staff played matchmaker for the former New York
Giant, 31, and the pair dined at BLT Steak in Charlotte's Ritz-Carlton hotel.
"They've been out five times," says the pal. "Emily thinks Jeremy is nice, but
she's just having fun!"

Lifetime is developing "Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story", a movie of the
famous pop star.   Fame Monster chronicles the life of Stefani Germanotta, who
started her musical career as a rocker and later was transformed into pop mega
star Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga herself, is not involved.

Arthur C. Nielsen Jr., who transformed the company his father founded in 1923
into an international leader in market research, died on Monday in Winnetka,
Ill., where he lived most of his life. He was 92 and had Parkinson's disease.
Nielsen presided over the company’s growth from a modest operation, generating
less than $4 million a year in revenue, to one with revenue of more than $680
million.

Cruise industry giant, Carnival, has hired George Lopez as their new Director of
Comedy. They will be renaming every Punchliner Comedy Club, found on each
Carnival cruise ship, to Punchliner Comedy Clubs Presented by George Lopez.
Lopez will be active in securing top and up-and-coming talent for the venues,
serve as the introduction voice to the clubs in pre-recorded messages and have
his act available to watch on in-ship televisions.  Lopez himself, has never
been on a cruise before. The first Punchliner Comedy Club Presented by George
Lopez will debut on the Carnival Liberty later this month, with the clubs being
fleet wide by next year.

Former teen heart throb, David Cassidy is suing Sony claiming the studio screwed
him out of millions of dollars in profits from "The Partridge Family." According
to the lawsuit, Cassidy claims Sony used his image on merchandising without his
permission for 40 years. To date, Cassidy claims he has only been paid $5,000.
Cassidy is suing Sony for breach of contract and fraud -- demanding millions in
damages. Sony says that they have dealt with Mr. Cassidy in a completely lawful
and appropriate way, and are confident that we will prevail in any proceeding.

According to law enforcement officials, "King of Infomercials" Don Lapre died
from a self-inflicted razor blade wound to the neck.  Lapre was found dead in
his cell on Sunday morning.  It appears that jail guards found piles of blood
soaked clothing next to the bed and believe he used the clothing to conceal
the bleeding so his attempt wouldn't be noticed.

Zac Efron was hanging out at the Board Room night club Tuesday in Chicago and got
a very expensive surprise... The son of a rich Russian man saw Zac and Heather
Graham and a number of other actors who were in town making a movie and sent
them a 15 liter bottle of Armand de Brignac Nebuchadnezzar Champagne, also known
as "Ace of Spades."  The Russian also bought some stuff for his OWN table,
including 2 magnum bottles of Grey Goose, 2 magnum bottles of Dom Perignon, 4
bottles of Cristal and 3 magnum bottles of Laurent-Perrier Brut Rosé.  Add that
all along with a $22,510 tip and the bill hit $112,550!

The L.A. Coroner's Office has finished its investigation and officials have
determined "Warrant" singer, Jani Lane, died from acute alcohol poisoning.  The
singer was found dead in an L.A. motel room on August 11th, with a half-empty
bottle of vodka and prescription medication. The singer had battled substance
abuse for years.
