Movie star Bradley Cooper has been named People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2011. "I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this. I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying," Cooper told People. Cooper split with Renee Zellweger last March after a relationship of two years. He says he is single, but not necessarily ready for another relationship. He doesn't consider himself to be a ladies man.

The woman who claimed she had a child with Justin Bieber has dropped her paternity suit against the pop star. Mariah Yeater dismissed her paternity suit late last week that said she and the Biebs hooked up backstage at one of his concerts and now she has a baby boy. According to Justin's lawyer, Mariah dismissed her lawsuit to open the door for a private settlement but says there have been NO settlement discussions whatsoever between the two camps ... though there may have been contact about the terms of a DNA test.

"American Idol" Season 2 winner, Ruben Studdard has filed for divorce in Alabama. The Velvet Teddy Bear and his wife, Surata Zuri McCants, tied the knot in 2008. They have no kids.

The Disney movie, "Newsies" is coming to Broadway this March.  The movie, starring a young Christian Bale, tells the story of the real-life child newspaper sellers in 1899 New York City who go on strike.  The new version will reportedly keep all the old favorite songs - "King of New York," "The World Will Know," "Carrying the Banner" and "Seize the Day" but will also add a young female reporter to the storyline. The run on Broadway is scheduled for March 15 through June 10th.

The three astronauts of Apollo 11, which landed on the moon, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins and the first American to orbit the Earth, John Glenn, were all awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor on Wednesday. The award is the nation's highest civilian honor. They are also the first astronauts to ever receive the honor, which is described as "the highest expression of national appreciation for distinguished achievements and contributions."

Comedy Central has announced that it has picked up "South Park" all the way through 2016, making sure the show will reach it's 20th season.  Only "The Simpsons" has lasted longer.

While it hasn't officially been announced, In Touch Weekly is reporting that Prince William and Kate Middleton are pregnant. Reportedly three nurseries are being prepared - one in Nottingham Cottage, where the royal couple has been staying; one in the home in Wales; and one at Kensington Palace in London. The source quoted also claims to have the inside track on the names - "Edward, Philip and Michael are likely choices for a boy, or Alice or Rose for a girl."   Evidently the pressure has been on the couple since they got married to produce as great-grandchild to the Queen as soon as possible.

The New York Post is reporting that Dave Hester of "Storage Wars" got a "cease and desist" letter from rapper Trey Songz whose lawyer demands that Hester stop uttering the word "YUUUP!" during the show’s auctions of seized goods. According to the documents, Songz claims to have used YUUUP! as his "signature sound" since at least 2009. Hester argues that Songz’ version "resembles an animal-like or non-human squeal which begins with a distinct ‘yeeee’ sound before finishing with a squeal-like ‘uuuup’ sound, while his is just a single syllable that conveys the meaning of yes.  Hester says he got a trademark on "YUUUP!" last September.

VH1 has announced the pickup of "Mob Wives: Chicago" which is a spin-off from the original east coast-based series, "Mob Wives".  The Chicago version will air in Spring 2012.

Southwest Airlines will be the subject of a new reality show on TLC.  According to the press release, The show promises to take viewers "behind the scenes of the modern air travel experience, sharing the large-scale operations and personal customer stories at Southwest Airlines.

The man who allegedly told his shrink and an LAPD detective he had many conversations with God about killing Selena Gomez has had his felony stalking charge dismissed and is a free man at this hour. LAPD detectives still think that Thomas Brodnicki is a "credible threat" to Gomez, but the judge said there wasn't sufficient evidence that Brodnicki intended to actually carry out his threats against the young star. Brodnicki will be a free man. There is, however, a civil restraining order against him, requiring him to stay clear of Selena.

Michael Lohan got two years probation for beating up his ex girlfriend, Kate Major back in October.  He pled "no contest" to the incident in which he allegedly got violent when she refused to perform oral sex on him. Lohan was also ordered to spend 4 months at a residential treatment center and complete a domestic violence batterer’s intervention program.  He's also been banned from having any contact with Kate.

For the third year in a row, Ricky Gervais will host the Golden Globes.  This year the schmooze fest will take place on January 15th and will air on NBC.

TMZ is reporting that Gary Busey got slapped with a lawsuit from a woman he knocked over at the airport as he rushed to cut to the head of the line. Carla Loeffler, 57, said she and the actor were waiting for the same flight at a Tulsa airport last May when Busey, who had been biding his time in the airport bar before the flight, shouldered her and knocked her violently to the ground.  According to the lawsuit, Loeffler sustained injuries as a result of the takedown and she's now demanding unspecified damages.   A spokesperson for Busey said the actor has no recollection of the event and believes this is a shakedown.  Busey claims he intends to turn the tables on his accuser and sue her right back for defamation and harassment.
