Katie Perry, appearing on Ellen on Thursday, announced she is giving a FREE
concert on November 23rd at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  Perry says it
will be the last performance of her "California Dreams" tour.  Ellen gave
everyone in the audience tickets.

Kim Kardashian's ex PR person says that Kim stages everything she does. Jonathan
Jaxson, Kardashian's publicist from 2007-09, went on a syndicated radio program
Thursday to explain how unreal everything in Kardashian's life really is. Jaxson
says he himself was responsible for the time that Kim led the press to believe
she and Reggie Bush were getting engaged as they walked out of a jewelry store.
Jaxson adds that this kind of behavior is what drove a wedge between Kim and the
NFL running back. "He was totally unaware of these type of antics," Jaxson says.
"And when he finally got wind of it through some other people, he chose not to
be in this relationship."

Showtime has closed a deal for an eighth season of the comedy, "Weeds".  Weeds,
is the longest-running series on Showtime and the most watched comedy. It stars
Mary-Louise Parker as a suburban widow-turned-marijuana dealer.

Charlie Rose and Gayle King will be two of the new faces of CBS' updated "The
Early Show." The two will join current co-hosts, Erica Hill and Jeff Glor on a
whole new set. The show will emphasize hard news and use a conversational
approach like on "The View". The program will launch in its new form sometime
early next year.

MTV's second "16 and Pregnant" spinoff "Teem Mom 2" will be returning with a
second season on December 6th.  The show will continue to follow the lives of
teen moms Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry. Just so
you know, Chelsea still hasn't graduated from high school, and her best friend
and roommate, Megan Nelson, gave birth to her own baby, a son named Hunter.
Jenelle, unlike her bad-boy ex Kieffer Delp, has managed to avoid jail despite a
series of legal problems. Her mother, Barbara, still has custody of her son,
Jayce. Leah divorced her husband Corey Simms after six months of marriage.
Kailyn is going to school full-time while juggling two jobs and motherhood.

Ashton Kutcher has turned over his Twitter account to his "management" who will
be approving/disapproving any of his tweets from now on.  Kutcher is still
reeling from the Joe Paterno gaffe he made, especially when his followers
immediately pounced on him for defending the coach who didn't do enough to
protect a child from being molested in the football showers.

Just in case you’re going over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s
house a few days for Thanksgiving and don’t want to miss "The X Factor," you
should know there will be a revised schedule that week. The X Factor performance
show will move to Tuesday, November 22, from 8-10pm with the results show airing
on Wednesday from 8-9 p.m.

Fox will have a couple of holiday specials on Thanksgiving night. "Ice Age: a
Mammoth Christmas" will lead off the night at 8pm, followed by "Happiness is a
Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown" at 8:30pm.

Oscar hosting veteran, Billy Crystal, has officially been tapped to host the
next awards ceremony, replacing Eddie Murphy.  Crystal has hosted the Academy
Awards eight times.  The last one being in 2004.

Howard Stern is reportedly in talks with NBC to become a judge on "America's Got
Talent" replacing Piers Morgan who bowed out of the show earlier this week.
Sources say that negotiations are in the $15 million a year price point for the
job that will seat him next to Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel.

Multiple sources connected with the Penn State football team say coaches held a
meeting with players and told them their friends and family should show support
for ousted coach Joe Paterno by wearing white to the game on Saturday. It's a
bold move, considering there is a university-wide move for people in the stands
to wear baby blue to support the alleged sexual assault victims of Jerry
Sandusky.

U.S. Senators Bob Casey (D-Pa.) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) announced Thursday that
in light of the recent events at Penn State,  they are rescinding their support
for the nomination of football coach Joe Paterno for the Presidential Medal of
Freedom.  The two said, "We should turn our attention to the victims of these
atrocious crimes and ensure they get the help they need. Our hearts and prayers
go out to them and their families."
