DR. CONRAD MURRAY GUILTY
It took the jury only 8 hours to come to the concensus to convict the physician for involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson. The jury of seven men and five women sat through 49 witnesses and 23 days of testimony before rendering their decision yesterday afternoon. Jackson died June 25, 2009 from an overdose of the surgical anesthetic Propofol combined with Lorazepam and Midazolam. Murray was just handcuffed in court after the judge remanded him into custody.  He will remain in jail until his sentencing.  His sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 29, 2011. Murray could face up to four years in prison and lose his medical license. The doc will get his own cell in L.A. County jail as well as an escort whenever he moves.  Dr. Murray's defense team, J. Michael Flanagan, claims there are already plans to appeal Monday's "guilty" verdict. Flanagan says he's still "very disappointed" in the decision.

The legendary boxer, Joe Frazier, best known for his unforgettable fights with Muhammad Ali, has passed away from liver cancer at age 67.  He has entered hospice care just last week and died Monday evening. He was working at a slaughterhouse in Philadelphia when he was discovered by trainer Yank Durham, who convinced him to go pro in 1965. Smokin' Joe Frazier ended his career with 32 wins, 27 of them by knockouts.

Actor, Gary Dourdan, was arrested Sunday night for allegedly breaking his former girlfriend's nose. Officers responded to a call around 9pm but the woman had left.  Before they left, someone phoned in and told officers an injured woman was in the alley.  The woman turned out to be Dourdan's ex and appeared she had a broken nose.  She said Dourdan was the one who hit her. The former "CSI" star was arrested and booked for felony battery. He's being held on $50,000 bail.

He expects Adele to make a full recovery from the laser microsurgery.
