The case against the doctor accused of killing Michael Jackson has gone to the
jury, with deliberations set to begin today. The seven-man, five-woman panel got
the case Thursday after daylong closing arguments by a prosecutor and defense
attorney.  The defense told jurors that Michael Jackson caused his own death
"They want you to convict Dr. Conrad Murray for the actions of Michael Jackson,"
the lawyer said. Prosecution Attorney David Walgren projected images of
Jackson's grief-stricken children on a giant screen and told jurors that Murray
took away their father. Jackson's mother and siblings watched from the courtroom
gallery. The prosecutor repeatedly called Murray's treatment of Jackson bizarre
and said there was no precedent for the cardiologist giving Michael the powerful
anesthetic to help him sleep.  After recapping all the evidence the prosecution
presented, Walgren ended the closing by saying, "Conrad Murray is criminally
liable," he said. "Justice demands a guilty verdict."

changing.
