Lauren Alaina made it through the final round of "American Idol" on Tuesday but after the show, she wasn't able to say a single word. The 16 year old originally lost her voice during Tuesday rehearsals and had to use a notepad to answer questions from the press.  After some medications, Lauren was able to compete in the finals in great shape. After the show, Scotty said he left the stage feeling like he had exhausted everything his 17-year-old body had to offer. "I feel, for me, I went out there and I did my best and I just left everything on the stage, so our work here is done and it's up to America now," he said. "Ditto" wrote Lauren on her pad.

"Teen Mom" dad, Gary Shirley, was arrested and slapped into an Indiana jail early Tuesday morning for driving on a suspended license. According to reports, Amber Portwood's baby daddy was arrested at 1:34a and was held temporarily on a $3,000 bond.

Ronnie and "The Situation" got into a major fist fight with each other Monday night in Italy and it looks like the sitch got his butt kicked. Situation has red marks covering his face around his left eye and Ronnie's knuckles were torn up and bleeding. Supposedly, the fight originally started as a fight between Ronnie and Sami.  What do you think?  Alcohol involved?

Oprah Winfrey's OWN network will stop programming from 4pm-5pm when her final show airs in the East coast.  A message will appear on the screen directing viewers to the finale.  The cable channel is also planning six days of special Oprah-themed programming May 25th-May 30th every night at 8pm and from 11a-6p Memorial Day Weekend. Winfrey's hiatus from the small screen will be brief as she is slated to launch her new nighttime show, Oprah's Next Chapter, on OWN in January 2012.

Nine members of the Duggar family flew to Missouri to help rescue efforts in the devastated city of Joplin, after a massive tornado struck the town Sunday night. The Duggars, of TLC's reality show 19 Kids and Counting, live approximately 75 miles from the disaster area, in Springdale, Ark. Late Sunday night, they heard what had happened and sprang into action, packing up a caravan of three cars with water, Gatorade, beef jerky and other dried food before hitting the road to help. John, 21; Jana, 21; and Jill, 20 are all certified first responders and volunteer fire fighters, while Josh, 23, has worked as a volunteer fire fighter. Their father Jim Bob, 45, along with younger siblings Jessa,18; Jinger, 17; Joseph, 16; and Josiah, 14, accompanied them and all assisted in the rescue efforts Sunday night after the storm hit. "We worked five different streets, looking for survivors," Josh says. "It was somber and serious because there weren't many people we found."

The new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (formerly known as Prince William and Catherine Middleton) met briefly with President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, right before William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, hosted a special lunch for them.  The newlywed couple spent 15 minutes with the Obama's in Buckingham Palace talking about their upcoming trip to California. The Obamas will spend two nights at Buckingham Palace before continuing their tour of Europe. After lunch, the Obamas headed to the site of the Royal Wedding, Westminster Abbey. There, the President laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior.

Nicolas Cage has a surprising connection to a song on the "American Idol" finale. The actor's brand new daughter-in-law co-wrote the song, "Like My Mother Does" sung by Lauren Alaina, three years ago. Nikki Williams married Cage's son Weston last month in Tennessee.

"Battlestar Galactica" star, Edward James Olmos, has signed on to the sixth season of Showtime's "Dexter". He'll play a "brilliant, charismatic professor of religious studies."  Production on the next season starts on May 25th and the show debuts this fall.

Fox has reportedly asked Glee co-star, Jane Lynch, to emcee the Emmy Awards this September. Lynch already did a good job for Fox hosting the network's upfront presentations for the past two years as her Glee character Sue Sylvester.  Other Fox personalities that reportedly had been considered include Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, and Ryan Seacrest.

Fox News is reporting that Maria Shriver herself, was the one who leaked the revelations about Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child to the media.  She has reportedly hired a private investigator to find out whether her estranged husband fathered more children in secret, had any other affairs and the status of his finances.  Maria was said to be so upset by the news when she found out that friends had to stop her from holding a press conference right then and there. She agreed to keep quiet until a week after the couple announced the end of their 25-year marriage before tipping off the LA Times that Arnold had a 13-year-old son with a member of the household staff. Shriver and Schwarzenegger's joint worth has been assessed at between $200 million and $400 million, meaning their divorce could be one of the costliest celebrity splits ever. The pair is believed to have a pre-nuptial agreement, but after 25 years of marriage and Schwarzenegger's infidelity, it may not stand.
