Gene Simmons' 18-year-old daughter, Sophie, was in a four-car pile-up Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance to get checked out.  Simmons was sitting in traffic when the car behind her failed to stop and plowed into her, causing her to smash into the car in front of her. The accident caused a chain reaction that ended in a four-car wreck with Sophie right in the middle.  Sophie hit her head on the steering wheel but she is ok. Her Dodge Charger, however, completely totaled.

Law & Order:SVU star, Mariska Hargitay, has closed a new deal to return to the crime drama for its upcoming 13th season.  Meanwhile, SVU's leading man, Christopher Meloni, still has no deal for next season. Going into the contract negotiations, Hargitay had asked to scale back her workload on the show. The producers granted her request, and she will work fewer hours at her previous salary of about $385,000 an episode.  For the first 13 episodes, Hargitay's character Olivia Benson will continue to solve sex crimes, she will then be promoted to a supervisor position, with a new female detective taking her place. Word is that Jennifer Love Hewitt is being eyed to fill the new detective position.

Miranda Lambert, 27, married her longtime love, country singer, Blake Shelton late Saturday at Texas' Don Strange Ranch.  More than 550 people watched Lambert, wearing her mother's wedding gown, walk down the aisle. Robert DeNiro is expected to play the part of Bernie Madoff in a new HBO movie about the scandal that left hundreds of people without their life savings. The movie is based on the just released book, "The Wizard of Lies," written by Diana Henriques, a reporter for The New York Times.

The Walt Disney Company has trademarked the phrase "Seal Team 6," which also happens to be the name of the elite special forces team that killed Osama Bin Laden. The trademark applications came just two days after the announcement of Bin Laden's death. Disney's trademark applications for "Seal Team 6" cover clothing, footwear, headwear, toys, games and "entertainment and education services," among other things.

Tamera Mowry got married Sunday to Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley in Napa Valley. "The Sister, Sister" star, 32, and Housley, 39, tied the knot at a vineyard surrounded by 300 guests.  Her twin sister, Tia was the matron of honor along with 7 bridesmaids.  The groom and his eight groomsmen wore tuxedos and Converse sneakers.  The couple presented their parents with long stemmed roses. Even though he was voted off on Thursday, rocker James Durbin was able to return to his home of Santa Cruz Saturday for a special homecoming celebration. "Durbin Day" included a visit with Durbin's former "Kids on Broadway" theater group,  a parade with the Santa Cruz High School marching band, and a stop at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk where Durbin performed with some of his old friends on the beach bandstand. "Originally, American Idol indicated that James' return to Santa Cruz depended on him making it to the final 3 because of obligations to the show," said Kris Reyes, PR director for the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.  They were able to convince Idol into allowing the celebration to move forward.

Tom Petty says he's worried about shows like "American Idol" where contestants win record contracts because the musicians may actually be missing out on the most valuable industry training by being on the road. "We came up in increments, you got a gig, then you got a bigger gig, then you got a record contract bit-by-bit, Petty told FOX411. These days, everyone is into instant gratification. The 60-year-old musician and his wife, Dana Petty, were honored at The Midnight Mission’s Golden Heart Awards in Beverly Hills over the weekend for their dedication in helping the many homeless people in Los Angeles over the years.

While the speculation continues on whether Donald Trump will run for president or not, one thing that is certain, NBC says "Celebrity Apprentice" will go on with or without the Donald. When pressed as to who could take over Trump's signature firings, NBC says it would have to be a big personality.
