"Glee" star, Lea Michele was in a hit and run car accident, early Friday morning, in Hollywood. Michele was traveling on Melrose Ave on her way home from work, reports US Magazine. Reportedly, she was hit by a couple of drunk girls, who got out of the car, giggled that she was famous, said wanted to know if she was drunk too. Then they drove off. Ina Garten, known as the "Barefoot Contessa" has somehow found the time to meet with a Make-A-Wish foundation child after declining the request twice before. According to the Food Network star's rep, she only found out about the child this weekend. Now after all the press attention, Ina has miraculously found the time to cook a meal with the six year old. Little Enzo is battling leukemia -- and told the foundation he WISHED he could cook a meal with Ina ... because he watched her show with his mom while in bed battling the illness. After being
turned down by the cook so many times, however, he's come up with a new wish...to swim with dolphins. His parents say that Enzo is so excited about his upcoming adventure, that he sleeps in his bathing suit.
A federal judge in Pennsylvania has tossed out a book author's $100 million lawsuit against Oprah Winfrey for violating the copyright in the political booklet, "How America Elects Her Presidents". Charles Harris claimed in his lawsuit that as Winfrey began supporting Barack Obama's presidential campaign, Harris sent 10 copies of his booklet to the The Oprah Winfrey Show in hopes of gaining publicity. On February 16, 2009, Harris claims that Winfrey allegedly read aloud exact questions that were included in the book so he sued her for copyright infringement. The show was about kids learning about the president and the question that Oprah asked that rocked Harris's world was, "Who was the heaviest president?" (William Howard Taft at 327 pounds.) Winfrey filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit saying Harris' lawyers should have known that facts about American presidents are not copyrightable. U.S. District Court Judge Jan DuBois agrees that Harris' work is "not original," and that Winfrey's use of the Fat Taft fact, even if she did learn it from Harris' book, was not an infringement.
Julie Chen and Holly Robinson Peete will participate in a special crossover event with The Price is Right on April 6th. "Dancing With The Stars" host, Tom Bergeron has refused to interview singer, Chris Brown, after he performs on the elimination show tonight. "I did say to the producers that it might be to their advantage to not have me interview him, because my natural tendency would be to say something.... says Bergeron. "So don't put me in a position where you're asking me to not say something, 'cause I won't really do that. Even if it's just a snarky little aside, you know?'"
Is it possible? According to Will Ferrell, he will be the fulltime replacement for the departing Steve Carrell on "The Office". His character is named Deangelo Vickers. For an actor who makes $20 million a movie, some think that Ferrell was only kidding about staying on the show full time. I guess only time will tell.
Candy Spelling is shopping another book, and this time, she plans on dishing about her daughter, Tori. Everyone knows that the two have been having relationship problems ever since Candy's husband and Tori's dad, Aaron Spelling died. Tori, who reportedly received just $800,000 from her father's $500 million estate, claimed Candy never notified her of her father's passing. But Candy says she asked Tori to come home when Aaron was near death, but she was filming a movie in Toronto with now-husband Dean McDermott. Candy says this next book is
really about Tori "coming into her own".
Another mother is shopping a tell all book about her daughter. In a book proposal that Katie Perry's mother is shopping, Mary Perry Hudson complains about how her daughter's racy lyrics, "foul-mouthed fiance" (now husband Russell Brand) and "suggestive outfits" have negatively impacted her own Christian ministry. "No mother wants to see the top of her daughter's boobs... My first instinct was to order her back behind those doors and demand she put something else on... " she writes. The elder Hudson believes that Katy is destined to be a healer.

Harry & David, the mail-order gourmet food company, filed for bankruptcy protection on Monday as a weak economy led consumers and businesses to cut spending on its signature fruit baskets. While Harry & David has emphasized the quality of its products, holiday sales proved disappointing. Harry & David operates 70 stores, primarily in malls, and recently closed 52 others. It also sells products such as Wolferman's English muffins and Moose Munch popcorn
snacks.
Sylvester Stallone is set to launch a men'ss clothing line, named Stallone, next year. The line will consist of jeans, shirts, outerwear, underwear, and watches. Inspiration for the collection will be Stallone's most famous characters, Rocky and Rambo. At 64, Stallone says that he's past his prime as far as dramatic movie roles go and would rather direct dramas than star in them.
Jessica is originally from Marietta, GA! I am probably one of the only real "Atlantans" left! I love Atlanta because there is always something going on, and it's just close enough to the beach to get away for a weekend.
