"American Idol's" Casey Abrams has had to have yet another transfusion Thursday (March 24th) prior to the results show.  If you watched the show, you saw that Casey was the person that viewers decided to send home, but the judges used their one save for the season to keep him in the show.  When the judges said they would save him, Abrams was so rattled, viewers thought he might get sick or something. And the excitement continued back stage.  After the show went off the air, Abrams was so overcome with emotion he began hyperventilating and fell to the floor in a hallway. He was put in a chair and the production crew helped him calm down.

DJ Megatron, a radio and TV personality who hosted BET's "106th and Park," was shot and killed outside his Staten Island home around 2am Sunday. Megantron was born Corey McGriff. Before coming to BET, he has worked for hip-hop and R&B  stations in New York City, Boston and Philadelphia. Police say he was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and that no arrests have been made. He was 32 years old.

A West Texas prosecutor says that singer Willie Nelson can resolve marijuana possession charges if he agrees to plead guilty, pay a fine and sing "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" for the court. Hudspeth County's judge, Becky Dean-Walker, specifically demanded that Nelson appear in court instead of pleading by mail, reportedly because she wants to meet Willie. Nelson was arrested for possession of marijuana on November 26th at a Border Patrol checkpoint after an agent smelled an odor coming from the vehicle.

Amy Adams will join Henry Cavill, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner in the new "Superman" movie.  She'll play the roll of Lois Lane in the film.

Reese Witherspoon married boyfriend, Jim Toth on Saturday in a small ceremony at her home in Ojai, California. (Oh-High)  Her children Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, both took part in the ceremony. Among the guests were Alyssa Milano, Renee Zellweger and Tobey Maguire. Toth is one of two heads of motion picture talent for the Creative Artists Agency.

Nineteen year old "Teen Mom 2" personality, Jenelle Evans, ferociously ATTACKED another woman in North Carolina last week while others cheered her on and recorded the entire event. Evans is clearly the instigator, screaming insults at a woman named Britney.  Suddenly, Janelle socks Britney in the face with a closed fist.  They struggle, hit the ground where Janelle continues to punch away on Britney, even when Britney is curled up in a little ball. The fight is said to have had something to do with Janelle's boyfriend. Watch video here

Bret Michaels blames the 2009 Tony Awards for causing the brain hemorrhage that nearly killed him ... after he was hit in the head by a piece of scenery while performing on the show. Michaels has filed a lawsuit against Tony Award Productions, CBS and others ... blaming producers for not instructing him on how to safely exit the stage after his performance was over.  Immediately after the show, Michaels was hospitalized for a broken nose and a cut lip.  Then, Six months after the awards, Bret nearly died from a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage and Michaels insists it was NO coincidence.  In his suit, Bret says that one of the most common causes of this type of hemorrhage is head trauma. Bret says producers have "failed and refused" to remedy the situation ... and even blamed him for the mishap at the Tony Awards, claiming he "missed his mark."

Rob Kardashian, who underwent an emergency appendectomy Tuesday at a Los Angeles-area hospital, has been released. After complaining of painful stomach aches, the 24-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians personality was rushed by mom, Kris Jenner, to the emergency room at West Hills Hospital.

The crew from "Ghost Adventures" wants to get inside the so called, "Haunted" American Idol mansion.  According to TMZ, lead investigator of the "Ghost Adventures Crew" says that the complaints made about ghosts by the "American Idol" contestants sound legit and wants to bring the Idols back into the mansion to act as "trigger objects". He suspects that if there are spirits or demonic entities present they may have had a connection with one of them ... hence all the activity.

While a multi-tiered, traditional fruitcake will be the centerpiece of the wedding celebration of Prince William and Kate Middleton. on April 29th, there will be a second and more chocolatey cake made just for the Prince. It's said that William has quite a sweet tooth and specifically asked for the chocolate cookie cake. In all, the Prince's cake will contain about 35 lbs. of chocolate and approximately 1,700 McVitie's Rich Tea cookies.

Kate Major says she is afraid of Michael Lohan and has gotten a restraining order from him, even though she's in Florida and he's in California. The protective order comes after an alleged incident last week in which Kate claimed Lohan threw her up against the footrest of the bed. She claims that Lohan put a wet towel over her nose and mouth and started to strangle her. Kate claims that Michael sliced himself with a razor blade and said if she went to cops he would say she's the one who assaulted him.

And in other Lohan news, the Riverside County District Attorney's Office is pursuing possible assault charges against Lindsay Lohan stemming from the alleged altercation she had with a Betty Ford employee back on December 12th. TMZ is reporting that she's not worried about the case and says that some people are just out to get her.

Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio of "Jersey Shore" fame is scheduled to open for Britney Spears in the first of three performances in Vegas.  A sign in front of the Palm reads,  "Clash Fridays  DJ Pauly D and Special Guest".  Britney tweeted "wonder who the special guest is..."   The performance has not been publicized by the hotel and it's not entirely clear whether Spears will join Pauly D or be completely separated.   Britney is also scheduled to appear on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday and on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that night.  She will reportedly perform her latest hits, "Till The World Ends" and "Hold It Against Me."

How perverted are people?  ABC reportedly doesn't ever plan on filing a complaint against Chris Brown when he destroyed part of his "Good Morning America" dressing room last week.  Instead, they're inviting him back and trying to set up a first time reunion between Brown and the victim of his brutal beating, former girlfriend, Rhianna.

This week's "American Idol" theme will be Elton John songs.   Elton's birthday was this past Friday, and he will be hosting SNL this weekend...

Today in New York and April 4th in Los Angeles, "Top Chef" judge Tom Colicchio will bring foods inspired by the banquets seen in HBO's epic "Game of Thrones."  The dishes will be served from food trucks and will feature roasted rabbit, spice roasted duck, venison, lemon cakes, and other delicacies.  To find the truck locations and serving times, check out the "Game of Thrones" Facebook or Twitter pages.

After 25 years on the air, Oprah Winfrey will say goodbye to her daytime television show in order to spend more time with her OWN network.  Guests for her very last show have not been released.

Andrew Dice Clay will have a new recurring role in the new season of HBO's "Entourage." He will be co-starring with Johnny Drama in a cartoon series within the show's storyline. The comedian starts filming in two weeks. "Entourage" is scheduled to premiere on July 24.
